  1. Ive got a can of Daytona and its a bit fadey looking, paler in hue. It all started when i bought my 99 spec bumper and got a supposed colour match to the original yellow the car was in, but i went with it in the end and like it :thumbup1:
  2. Happy Birthday Chris  If you filled out your DOB in your profile it would have come up automatically :thumbup1:
  3. Difficult one really, brick dust takes ages to get rid of, even after jetwashing everything down, it gets everywhere as you have found out. Your neighbor really should have taken steps to maintain harmony with surrounding properties and at leas address the issues.
  4. Yellow lol, its actually hello yello which believe it or not is a smart car colour, however with white primer the colour is deeper than you see it on a smart car, same as my engine parts
  5. Ive had the paint over a year Neill lol, but thats the plan, to give me a chance to get the NA stripped for paint, as its been my daily driver, its been hard to take it off the road long enough or i get withdrawal symptoms
  6. Looks like its been relisted
  7. Primer lol. i have had a load of polish and wax waiting to be used for the past 4 years, i just hope they havent got a use by date:biggrin:
  8. You can adjust the window, the easiest first is to take off the door card and there are 2 window stops, undo the bolt and slide up slightly, it will make the window sit tighter to the top of the rubber, The pin in the runner has a plastic roller bush on the end, sometimes its fubarred and causes the window to rattle when down a little, this iirc can also be adjusted. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=48695&d=1244585257
  9. That was on my watch list lol, but too far to get it back home, would have cost another £500, but looks like its in good condition with some nice bits. Look forward to the pics Daz when you get a chance :thumbup1:
  10. No worries mate, i was up late and managed to have a pic on my hardrive
  11. Winter crossings or the odd deal in the paper can be cheaper, a day return isnt too bad from this side, about £42 but turn that into an overnight stay and its £50- odd, turn that into a week and its ridiculous. Red Funnel are often cheaper and do some good deals, but Wightlink are money grabbers lol
  12. I remember, Scotty organised a trip over on the weekend i was working away, typical eh :whistling:
  13. I agree with Brian, the guy i got my new TT from broke his las one for parts, due to the engine, he bought a couple from ebay in the end and both were bad. Unless you are prepared to strip it down to rebuild, i wouldnt risk it. There is one for £100 on ebay at the moment thats less of a risk as far as throwing good money after bad, at least if it wasnt a goer, you could strip it and sell the parts to get your money back.
  14. We could do a meet in the summer, but the bloody ferry is nearly the price of 3/4 tank of fuel
  15. Sorted, if she is up for it
  16. Erm the led after burners are a step up from the fiat ones lol
  17. Cheers mate, im well chuffed, the only problem will be, which one do i drive
  18. On the whole our footstump comes up with some great mods, its only the rare occasion he has a tardical moment :lol:
  19. Im sending my little lad out to get me some sweets  He thinks we are going to share :whistling:
  20. It means i can take the yellow one off the road long enough to get it painted  - - - Updated - - - :whistling: No
  21. Still looks like a dodgy connection lol, flash then solid would be much cooler dude
  22. I will get some pics up as its the law  i was too excited to get my hone out to take a few lol, but will get some as soon as its arrived.
  23. So in effect you have created your own water temp gauge to read what you want it to read, rather than the actual reading
  24. After going to a mates scrapyard for some wheels for a 323, i got talking about my zed and he said his son had one a while ago that he broke up for parts, but he has another one he doesnt want to break, but doesnt have time for any more, so i said let me talk to him and see if i cant buy it off him. 10 mins later i bought it, a black UK J reg Auto TT with scorpian exhaust, solid sills, alloy wheels, 103,000miles, engine sounds sweet. Got horrible Fiat back lights which will come off, needs a bit of TLC, but perfect for my winter project, aside from the one im driving, project  Cant believe i found one so local to me and soooooo cheap  Didnt have the wheels for the 323, but in the upside, pick it up next Monday and will take some pics, but happy ive got myself a TT even though i still love my NA:thumbup1: And i can steal the maf for mine for now till i sort another
  25. That is your cause the copper track has lifted, so use a thin piece of wire and solder to each side of the damage, bypassing the broken track but making a new circuit.
