Ecu plug in
Ok you need the interface http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Consult-Auto-Car-Vehicle-Diagnostic-Interface-14-pin-Code-Scanner-for-Nissan-UK-/291108006808?pt=UK_Diagnostic_Tools_Equipment&hash=item43c763ab98 If you have no serial port you can buy a usb to serial really cheap http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-USB-2-0-TO-RS232-SERIAL-DB9-CABLE-9-PIN-SERIAL-CABLE-UK-STOCK-/281336491366?pt=UK_Computing_Parallel_Serial_PS_2&hash=item4180f62d66 then download a copy of Nissan scantech or Datascan or purchase the consult software, consult wont be cheap though, the other two can at least give you error codes, show all the sensors and power test. But this looks interesting http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-OBD-diagnostic-consult-infinity-S14-RNN14-VQ30DE-/230631879339?pt=UK_Diagnostic_Tools_Equipment&hash=item35b2bb32ab

No spark on cylinder 4 :(
Alot of injectors going lately on a few peeps motors, mine included, but if you definitely have no spark and youve changed the coil pack and PTU, then its likely a wire issue, good luck and let us know if you find the problem :thumbup1:

Ecu plug in
He will need a consult adaptor or you can buy one from ebay quite cheap and you can download scantech or datascan and check it yourself iirc its OBD1 as its pre OBD11, but the consult adaptor i think is part of the key for translation to the software.

No spark on cylinder 4 :(
PTU loom, also check the ECU end, might also be worth opening up the ECU to look for any issues on the board, might be a simple fix of broken down wire to the coil pack

Quiet around these parts
I think its been touched on, but people who buy zeds now are not generally enthusiasts, like some of us die hards, hence come and go like the weather, declining numbers, but there are still a fair few about. Trends change and one day will likely turn around again at some point. facebook doesnt help, one of the many reasons i cant stand it lol

Help me please :/
Your ecu would have reset after being out of the car and no power, not sure about the pot position in the ecu, something Jeff can answer, as said it sounds more like a box issue, blocked solenoid or part of the wiring, but more likely solenoid/s if all you did was change he gearbox oil.

Help me please :/
Ask A local company to see how much they will charge to deliver your car, then when its done get the train up and drive it back :thumbup1: Or also try Jimmer who is closer to you and is a zed engine specialist builder :thumbup1:

Help me please :/
I can feel your frustration mate, but dont go scrapping the car over the gearbox issue, especially if everything else is spot on with it. If its not the gearbox ecu or main ecu trace back the wiring for the box for the sensors and inhibitor, relay fuse board. It may be a solenoid in the box, or a couple of wires chaffed or shorting. I know you have probably tried everything, but go over it again methodically before changing the box, oh and find someone who knows what they are doing, the consult has a separate part for the AT and if they only have the trial software may not be able to access at all.

Stalling
Possibly fuel pump control unit behind the drivers rear panel next to the rear seat, corrosion on plug or problem with the board, there have been a few issues with this in the past,

Good idea for wet MAF!?
The splash guard is part of the front bumper support bracket, the one that houses the fog lights, the ribbed looking thing in the pic you posted, you could also make one using half a plant pot, plastic of course and nearest size to the bottom of the cone filter. One here http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/300ZX-Z32-PARTS-FRONT-BUMPER-STRENGTHENER-SUPPORT-BAR-/380888876396
