  1. Spacers are fine up to about 10mm, then you need to go hub centric, which bolt to the disc first then the wheel to the spacer. My wheels need a refurb, all those fake allen head bolts the chrome plate has come off and the rims are really pitted through the lacquer
  2. Heard this on the news on the way home, couldnt believe it, very sad
  3. I have 5mm wheel spacers on the rear and 20mm hubcentric spacer for the fronts now so they fill the arches Look really nice on a black zed :thumbup1: you dont want to go too wide on the fronts i find 245/40 perfect the rears you could go 275 or 285 at a push, mine are 265/35 x 18.
  4. Bodywork is hyper primer
  5. Hi mate, you have the same wheels, cool, they are quite rare now. Ive been trying for ages to locate the centre caps as the chrome plate on a couple are beyond polishing lol They are 18" front are 8.5 with 245 and rears 9.5 with 265 tyres, they are usually stamped on the inside of the rim, might be worth taking a wheel off to check. They are the CO53 model in hyper silver. Post some pics up of them :thumbup1:
  6. Where is the leak coming from, the sump? He may have spilt some on the downpipes when filling back through the dipstick, hopefully he can get sorted to your satisfaction.
  7. Great news mate, i did notice than when mine was an auto, when cold the gear changes took longer and seemed to be higher up the revs, but once warmed up it was fine and changed nice and smoothly. At least you know now that it was the box at fault.
  8. Happy Birthday Mike, belated wishes :thumbup1:
  9. Happy Birthday, have a great day
  10. Sorry to hear Ian, pass on our best wishes, he was a real support to me when my dad had a heart attack, tell him to take it easy.
  11. You know what i mean lol, our cars are never finished

  14. I like that, finishes of the car nicely
  15. Happy Birthday Rich, have a great day
  16. Ive got together lots of little bits i need for it, rear lights, oem custom spoiler, wing mirrors and once my NA is painted, apart from the little touches to do, i can then get on with the TT.:thumbup1:
  17. Great news, there is something about driving the zed that cannot be replicated by many other cars and i love driving mine everyday  Which is another reason its not painted yet, i get withdrawl symptoms if im not in it lol
  18. Youve probably got a vac leak, why not check your hoses first, before venturing out too far.
  19. All the Best Dave, have a great day
  20. Most projects are in the journals which is in the subscribed area.
  21. Looks a great colour Lee, i look forward to seeing her in the flesh, the body shop look like they know what they are doing, which is comforting, especially after all the shit youve been through with it lol
  22. As above, uneven tyre wear especially from another car is no match for your geometry on the zed and is the cause of your road noise. Cheap tyres can often amplify the road noise, but safer than unknown part worns.
  23. Check your temp sender for corrosion, sounds like its telling the ecu the engine still isnt up to temp.
  24. You need to make sure that the com port on the software matches the device manager, normally your pc does this automatically, i would imagine com port 3 is already in use on your laptop, normally com1 or higher up the range say 10-15 may be available. Go to your device manager in windows and see what com ports are free and try to change it on the consult.
  25. Connect to the internet while you have the consult interface plugged in, it should find new hardware and download a driver from the net. Or unplug interface first, connect to the net, then plug in again
