  1. Really looks nice now its all back together  too dark for anymore pics, but i guess there will be some taken tomorrow :thumbup1:
  2. Probably lol, i never noticed
  3. I have cleaned off the paint from the number plate lights lol, but will be having an led strip modification later, so those two rust domes are going. No one will see the petrol cap lol, it was a case of getting it done quick and had more issues to worry about than a filler cap  Going back in in two weeks to sort a couple of bits out, still got mesh to put in the bumper sort trims out, but for now its all one colour, which im happy with
  4. :lol::lol::lol: good one, i like that :thumbup1:
  5. Booked on the 6am car ferry, so get into Portsmouth at 6:40am then will travel along the M27 and should hit the M3 about 7:10 ish, will look out for you Steve or meet at one of the services on route. Will PM my number :thumbup1:
  6. Im sure you will find something mate, i dont mind, at least i can polish now for the first time in 4 years
  7. Certainly stand out from the crowd
  8. I like it, nice and bright and so far everyone who came into the bodyshop liked it, apart from the sprayer lol
  9. Getting there now, spent all day flatting and buffing the body, then the bumpers, got the bonnet to do tomorrow and put it all back together for sat. Still a few bits to finish, but will do that next week, at least now its in colour
  10. Well i hate this car even more now, ive just realised that my so called deal with the insurance company is worse than i first thought, for a year they want £567 for the scenic and thats with mirroring my no claims on both cars. So as soon as i can im getting rid of this piece of poo. I can see now why youngsters drive without insurance, by a cheap banger and run it till they get caught, a huge saving  At 46 and full no claims i would expect about £180 not £567. The cheapest quote i saw online was £169, which is why i went ahead and bought it, but as per, you can never get the online price quoted, by the time they have assessed everything
  11. Insuring the zed is cheaper than a run of the mill family car, i dont understand why, but then again will anyone ever understand how the insurance companies decide what to charge lol Welcome to the club and good luck in your search for a zed, plenty of help and advice here and you should find a decent N/A for your budget.
  12. Because that top quality hardboard sits on the edge of the tray and Nissan wanted to piss you off by having them rattle about over bumps
  13. Check for corrosion on your temp sensor.
  14. Take off the yellow plug of the IACV with engine running and with a flat blade longish driver, turn the idle screw, once the revs are down to about 650 or nearly dying, plug the iacv plug back in and the ecu will take over the idle.
  15. The Carmad one in Tom's pic is his custom OEM and not the original copy of the OEM as i have one too for my TT :thumbup1:
  16. TPS should be .44v at a push .45v from all the info ive ever read about it. I know its only 1-2v out but that would make a difference in gear changes Idle should be 850rpm in neutral. So having your revs higher already than they should be, will have an effect.
  17. Dont forget there is also a raffle on the day with some great prizes  so dont miss out
  18. Do you have spigot rings on your alloys? Also i didnt have any vibration until i recently changed my front discs and pads that had been used before, now i do have some brake judder from 60mph, worth checking your discs again.
  19. My wheel arch liners are out and everything stripped to a point, just not the glass, i figure that once the body is painted, anything i can take off at a later date to sort i can do myself, its a solid colour and as long as i dont leave it too long the colour match should be fine.
  20. The one taped off will likely be the knock sensor resistor mod.
  21. I will be happy just to get some colour on it at the minute lol and will worry about any imperfections after, although im not looking for perfection as i havent stripped mine of glass and gone as far as you did, but i will on the TT project. I hope they sort it out to your satisfaction, turned out to be a bloody expensive paint job eh
