Its not Zedward but it IS yellow
Hi Jane, i dont know if it helps or not, but when fitting an aftermarket stereo to my mates MR2, we had a similar problem, then discovered he had tried wiring the speakers to the speaker output of the stereo. The reason i found he had the problem, is that the speaker system is self powering in the MR2, ie each side has their own power amps, so only the audio output signal on the phono plugs need to be connected and not the speaker output wires of the stereo. So the stereo amp output speaker wires are not used, as you cant put amplified speaker output to a signal input of another amp. HTH

manual conversion wiring??
No pics lol, but to start with you need to peel back the drivers arch liner an join the wires for the starter relay to get it started, the other alternative is to wire to a switch on the clutch pedal for start. There are a couple of pics somewhere for the reverse and neutral, will try and dig them out. The best way for the neutral switch is at the ECU, give me ten mins and i will see what i can do.

first problem?
I would check your anti roll bar and drop links to make sure they are tight and the rubbers arent perished, also check the torsion bar. If its none of those, check that you brake pads have both shims, and the little clips in the top corners of the pads which hold the shims to the pads. Occassionally mine did this and found both clips were missing, which allowed the pads to move slightly

Update painted engine parts
lol, hi mate, i know what you mean on the 5 day turnaround, but im not doing a nut and bolt build like you have:bow::bow: and with most of the engine built up out of the car, it will hopefully save a little time. Im not going to rush it though, if its takes another day or so then so be it, but as my daily driver id like to get it done soon as :winkiss: How is your build going mate? Ive read your update, but no pics :sneaky2:

Polished Plenum diet part 2!
Dipping it in what? lol. I had mine sandblasted initially and it just cleaned the casting, didnt get rid of it, i dont think there is a substitute for sanding to get rid of the cast marks. Mikey had his painted or powdercoated with cast marks still on view.

Polished Plenum diet part 2!
Alot of boring hours, sanding and polishing, sisal cutting mop and brown bar or grey bar, then onto softer mops with different bars. The longest part of the job is the smoothing before you even get to the polishing stage lol

Update painted engine parts
I know what your saying, they are only sitting there on top at the moment and not stuck down yet, but they have a sticky pad on the rear which im going to remove so they will sit virtually flush to the panel. Sunk in lol, it took some time getting the bugger smooth lol. I have another throttle cover that i might have a go at cutting the letters out and seeing if i can get them sunk in, thanks for the idea.

Sky TV anyone looking
Not for free you dont.

Sky TV anyone looking
I cancelled mine last year, got sick of paying £48 a month for the same ole same ole and when you work out the monthly sky bill and TV license i cant justify paying nearly £700 a year to watch Tele lol. I dont miss it one bit, just watch the freeview channels, although it does annoy me why on sky you dont get Dave or Quest etc, that you get for free on freeview box.

Hi all
Not at all lol, the ruling was changed to allow registered users to be able to buy a part advertised by a subscribed member to allow a wider buying audience, similar to the rules for selling a car on the forum. So you are able to reply for a sale thread and you can post a wanted thread for a part. Cheers Graham
