  1. :happybday Have a great day :happybday:
  2. Put up some pics of the printout and where it was done and i will stick it up on the leader board.
  3. Cool, glad you got to the bottom of the problem. Its was a strange one from the norm lol
  4. Getting a colour match would be a nightmare, but the interior is nice, thats about it lol
  5. I love the sound of a V8, especially in a zed:drool::drool: One day :whistling:
  6. Well im a lover of nice wheels on a modded or kitted car. They can also look very lush on a standard body, so really its down to how you want it to look or how you want it kept. I think if you tried bigger wheels and keep the standard ones too, you will have the best of both worlds. But i cant really make my mind up on a vote as it looks great as it is.
  7. I look forward to seeing the interior when its done, are you having/had the door cards flocked aswell.
  8. Its not 2pk then as it wont need laquer and also if the guy uses 2pk he should really be in an air fed mask, suited up in a spray booth, but some people you never know lol.
  9. Your sat nav unit chiming or the chime box behind the speedo?
  10. There arent that many flashes lol Error Codes Key: All 10 flashes the same = No error codes detected. 1st flash longer than others = Revolution sensor is shorted or disconnected. 2nd flash longer than others = Speed sensor circuit is shorted or disconnected. 3rd flash longer than others = Throttle sensor circuit is shorted or disconnected. 4th flash longer than others = Shift solenoid "A" circuit is shorted or disconnected 5th flash longer than others = Shift solenoid "B" circuit is shorted or disconnected 6th flash longer than others = Overrun clutch solenoid circuit is shorted or disconnected 7th flash longer than others = Lock-up solenoid circuit is shorted or disconnected 8th flash longer than others = Fluid temperature sensor is disconnected or A/T control unit power source circuit is damaged. 9th flash longer than others = Engine revolution signal circuit is shorted or disconnected 10th flash longer than others = Line pressure solenoid circuit is shorted or disconnected All the same with no long start flash = Battery low, been disconnected, or control unit has just been reconnected.
  11. I got the same problem and sprayed it several times with high build primer until i was told it has to be sealed or it will just keep appearing. Its some sort of barrier sealer, cant remember the name, but needs to be done or you will be chasing the cracks for ever and a day.
  12. Let me guess! top of the rear bumper?
  13. Power light flickers? if you have an auto and you have a fault code, the power light flashes then goes out. Count the flashes or do an autobox diagnostic:http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=128846 There could be a number of things which affect the running, so many sensors lol, You could do an ECU diagnostic:http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=128845 Other things to check on these cars with running issues, maf sensor plug under the nose panel, temp sensor, top of the water pipe, left one for corrosion. The idle air valve may need adjusting if the base idle is low, or cleaning if its stalling. Dealers will usually always say there was nothing wrong with it before it left the garage. I would take it back and get them to check it over and explain the symptoms and possible fixes as explained here or check in the faq section http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=43 Also check your battery terminals are not corroded and are tight. With the age of these cars the positive battery clamp gets worn over time and work loose. Good luck. Graham
  14. Did they use a sealer on the bumper before primer? if not crazing and stress marks will appear not long after the paint has dried, ive had a mare with mine. Looking good though.
  15. Bargain lol, Scott from Nexus had a customised one, which sold for about £7k, like an armchair on wheels.
  16. Normally semi synthetic 10/40 depending on bhp. Do a search plenty on engine oil
  17. Do you still have the original bose speaker system in place? If so each one had its own amp IIRC, you may have a short somewhere causing your problem.
  18. Yep http://shop.ebay.co.uk/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p4012.m570.l1313&_nkw=H3+led&_sacat=See-All-Categories
  19. The sidelight in the fog housing is the same yes (501) but the fog bulb itself is a H3 same as the headlight.
  20. Take your pick lol, but stay clear of the single round led, they look bluey http://shop.ebay.co.uk/i.html?_nkw=white+501+led&_sacat=0&_odkw=300zx&_osacat=0&_trksid=p3286.c0.m270.l1313
  21. Sorry lee, that was to get a bush out lol. This might help http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=92607
  22. Use a bolt and a get a washer big enough to cover the bush but small enough to go through the hole where the bush sits. A large socket that will sit on the bush housing but not the bush, place a nut and washer on the bolt the other side of the socket and ratchet away till the bush is pulled out the hole.
  23. Ive never seen the car on the island, but looking at the guys feedback, he has sold a few motors recently so could be a dealer.
  24. Hi Hutch, i have had to edit your post regarding a group buy. Firstly you would need to be subscribed and pass any, group buys by our TLO znut. Hope you understand and good luck with your project. Graham
  25. Cheers for the advice, i guess mixing the paint and clear yourself with the right amount of hardner will cure quicker than a rattle can ever would.
