Boomin33 Posted May 12, 2011 Posted May 12, 2011 534.0 HP / 450.5 at wheels @ 1.06 BAR boost Not sure what others have got at around 1 bar (people don't seem to list it anymore)... but thought that was a pretty good result. Quote

Put up some pics of the printout and where it was done and i will stick it up on the leader board. Quote
Boomin33 Posted May 13, 2011 Author Posted May 13, 2011 (edited) I'll have to look through receipts to see which RPS I have. Can tell you, it drives like a dream, and sooooo smooooothhh compared to the HKS triple-plate I had in there before. The HKS thing was so incredibly ON/OFF.... it was a true art to pull away from traffic lights! Edited May 13, 2011 by Boomin33 Quote
Boomin33 Posted May 13, 2011 Author Posted May 13, 2011 I'm running at 1 bar :) Dude! are you 100% your 583hp was at the wheels? I got 534 at the fly with 1.06 Bar... o.k. so my car was trying to jump off the Rollers/walking right up the front roller and yours was on a hub dyno... but still, that's a hell of a lot of difference in output. even if your 583 was at fly, @ 1 BAR your build still kicks the most *ss that I've seen or heard of in the UK But if you were running around 670hp at the Fly and 583hp at the wheels on 1BAR.... :gunsmilie::gun_bandana: well, short of NOS?? can't see that being duplicated again around here.... shy of some serious freak of nature!! :) Quote

There is a link on my thread with some videos of it on the dyno at AME :) Quote
Boomin33 Posted May 13, 2011 Author Posted May 13, 2011 NOS & SantPod antics are like getting two very fit twins together for a day of fun! ;) OK..makes a bit more sense now. But 540 rwhp w/out NOS. = Awesome, very fine build you've got there! congratulations :2guns::gun_bandana::gunsmilie: Quote

takemetothepub Posted May 13, 2011 Posted May 13, 2011 Christ losing 84bhp at the wheels! Should it really be that much? Quote
Rich666 Posted May 13, 2011 Posted May 13, 2011 Christ losing 84bhp at the wheels! Should it really be that much? It's only 15%... maybe slightly conservative! Quote
Boomin33 Posted May 13, 2011 Author Posted May 13, 2011 (edited) I didn't check tyre pressue, nor have in months... so probably a bit low. Plus, the thing was hopping around the RR, trying to climb up the front Roller.... so imagine there was a bit of energy lost there. wasn't too fussed, but guess I could have got another 10 hp at the wheels out of it. I'm just chuffed that I prettty much matched my 2006 dyno figures but at 1.06 BAR vs. 1.4 BAR.... The car is ageing like a fine wine and only getting better? ;) Edited May 13, 2011 by Boomin33 Quote

GIBSTER-TT Posted May 22, 2011 Posted May 22, 2011 Hi did you have any luck on what clutch you are using? Cheers Quote
bobgenie Posted May 22, 2011 Posted May 22, 2011 Hi did you have any luck on what clutch you are using? Cheers I can tell you what I'm using if it's any help :) I've got a RPS MAX street clutch and it's been perfect for me so far anyway and as easy to use as a normal everyday clutch. Quote
GIBSTER-TT Posted May 22, 2011 Posted May 22, 2011 great i was just looking at them. What flywheel are you using? Wheres best to buy too? Thanks Dan Quote
bobgenie Posted May 22, 2011 Posted May 22, 2011 great i was just looking at them. What flywheel are you using? Wheres best to buy too? Thanks Dan I have a Findanza Ali flywheel. Best place to buy is whoever gives you the best deal TBH. I buy alot of my stuff from the states as it works out cheaper usually. Quote
Boomin33 Posted May 23, 2011 Author Posted May 23, 2011 Yep... still don't know which mine is... but can say it's as easy to use as an everyday clutch, as well. So sounds like it's the same. That HKS triple-plate I had was mentally stiff. such a fine line between on/off. Great at speed, but tough at traffic lights! (except on full-launch!) Quote
