Don't laugh but i have a Nissan Largo, i would like to know if there is anything on the market to convert a Z Manual gearbox into a cable or rod control one.
The reason i ask is because the Largo runs the same 300Z auto gearbox. The problem i have is too much power for an auto gearbox and no way of controlling it. I have done the first KA24DE Turbo conversion in the UK and although it might be able to handle the 500+ Hp it will not control very well with the massive amount of Torque.
If i could bolt on a Manual G Box and figure out how to run cable's to the gearstick that would be great, it's not that hard to fit a clutch pedal and master cylinder etc but my engine is under the seats and the gearbox is behind that.
Any idea's fella's ? I know i don't actually own a Z but i have worked on many and we all come under the Nissan umbrella.
Have enclosed a couple of pics,
Many thanks in Advance.
