  1. No lol, but they keep saying, "when are you going to paint it then" :pinch:
  2. Sorry bud i accidentally deleted your thread when editing a post, here is the info you require about dash warning lights in post two of this thread http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?142643-dashboard-lights&highlight=dash+info
  3. Im really happy and it goes to show as long as you maintain them well, they shouldnt really give much hassle.
  4. Yay, as above, passed this morning, 2 advisories, which i was quite shocked about after going over the car to make sure there would be nothing to pick up on lol. Both front tyres, although have loads of tread and still look newish where badly worn on the very inner band of the tyre. This as far as i can see is because i fitted some hubcentric spacers in the summer and should have had the wheel alignment re done to compensate :pinch: So after crimbo two front tyres and a Hawk eye wheel alignment is on the cards:thumbup1: I noticed when i had two new rear tyres fitted this morning that the rear pads were really low, ive ordered new ones, but hoped that it wouldnt be failed on them. Luckily i know the MOT guy well and he said he was feeling particularly lenient today so passed it
  5. Nice new addition Paul, but whats wrong with the silver one, was one of my favourites?
  6. Oooh you'd be surprised lol, Wednesday got back to my car at 4am after working and it was in 4 inches of water, luckily only just covered the tyres :pinch:
  7. Mine is leaking really bad at the minute on the drivers side, although i know i temporarily fixed in the targa rubber down the A post after primer, so it isnt as snug as it should be. Have heard about adjusting the window stops can make a big difference, making the glass compress the rubber at the top more efficiently. Waiting for a break in the rain to sort it properly.
  8. Heres a write up from the US site, regarding the issue which Nissan try to fix http://www.hazydaydream.com/300zx/leakyttop.pdf Jeffs post regarding the sealant http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?147273-Repaints-and-leaky-targa-s
  9. Happy Birthday mate and have a day
  10. Hi Chewie, how are you doing mate? still into your music? Good to see you on the site again, it has been a long time
  11. There is no window amp in the pass door, it is routed through the window amp in the drivers door, or partially routed iirc.
  12. Window amp, it seems the time of the year for it, im going to have to take mine out to re solder as im resorting to banging the door card to get the window to work lol
  13. You would only hear the relay click, its not very common for the motor to go duff, so worth a look before you have to take the door apart. Little black box behind the door card, under the arm rest abit, with a multiplug. There have been a couple of threads recently on this.
  14. Silly question Nicci, have you had the bonnet up before?
  15. Its normally the window amplifier in the door that needs resoldering rather than the motor :thumbup1:
  16. Turn it right to unlock then left to release iirc
  17. Your mums other half is a CNC engineer and you kept that to yourself  I need some De Corsa centre caps, trying to get hold of them is like finding rocking horse shit:yes:
  18. Looking good Gaz, you can polish the linkage and springs, just using the sisal mops, no need to sand.
  19. Happy Birthday Noz, have a great day
  20. A belated birthday wish for you Paul. hope you had a good one
  21. I was in Greenland in the early 90's and the northern lights were a nightly occurrence, truly superb and a definite must see before you die  Totally different watching them on tv lol
  22. Happy birthday Steve, all the best
  23. Its all fixed anyway, James will win it, but Jahmene should really as he is different ( another Susan Boyle type weirdo) lol
