  1. A disapointing performance from the Willams boy.
  2. I've got me eye on you lot! We don't want any trouble.
  3. I could do it in me Hillman Imp!
  4. Sorry to hear that bud. I was made redundant at the end of last year. Not a nice feeling. I had no cover on the mortgage. But it was the best thing that happened - work for myself now and make more doing less hours. Hope it all works out for you one way or another.
  5. Sounds great mate. I got married 10 months ago. I was nervous but it's all been geat. Fiji too? Ohhh.... I'm jealous. And I bet sometime in the three weeks you find yourself at a computer and log on...!
  6. What you think you saaaay? Ittttssszzz a niiyyyyyyyce plaaaaayyyyce, Ahhhhh... shaddduppaa yer faayyyyyyce! :duffer:
  7. Like you say mate... there's good coppers and bad ones - just like everyone else. Five seems a bit excessive for checking tax discs though.
  8. I should be popping in and out, keeping an eye open for any trouble or if anyone's getting a bit loud. The Mrs won't let me smoke in the rest of the house now so I nip up to the spare room (/computer room / leather room) when I want to smoke.
  9. I almost bought one about 8 years ago - it was rusty even then. They used to fookin fly though. A nice one would be a top car.
  10. Chammooooooon! My money'd be on the badger to be honest - very power, stocky things. Maybe if several Jack Russels could bring one down if acting as a team.
  11. He's on fire today! Scrawni for PM!
  12. They're only 3 or 4 years old. We've just put in an offer on the one that doesn't need the work doing - sounds like it'll be accepted. Thanks again chaps - you've helped us pick the right house (if it turns out to be the wrong one, I'm blaming all of you!!!! lol ;) )
  13. b19rks = top bloke  I thought it was a real shame he wasn't allowed to be a trader.
  14. Lads... would you swop places with him? I have to say I would. Although he is short and possibly bisexual. I wouldn't be up for any man-love.
  15. Ahhh... the scrappy.... happy days.. I still have a can of carb cleaner I stole when getting bits for my B-reg Metro 1.0L about 8 years ago.
  16. I think I'd be the same if I had his lifestyle etc. My comment on the other thread: I'm going to be controversial but I think his music is ok (not brilliant but very acceptable easy-listening sort of stuff). Come Undone is quite good, I like Mr Bojangles, Let Me Entertain You, Feel and Angels. And a few others. He's a great showman and I think his concert would be quite spectacular with lazers and lights and stuff. And there'll be loads of women, gashes all frothing (not much good if you've got the Mrs though I guess). Probably fit dancing birds too. If you gotta go, go with an open mind and a smile - you might enjoy it and your wife'll certainly be happier than if you're sulking! Also Mac1 once said he thought Robbie 'come to bed eyes' but I can't see that myself.
  17. I have to say they do look cute and are probably loads of fun. If the wife has kids (and I'm still having the very hot baths every Tuesday so I may yet prevent it) I might get a small dog.
  18. Very, very nice mate. Front bumper, spacers and you're there I'd say.

  20. Something's wrong and it could be something simple. I think AFMs can cause problems. Touch wood it'll be relatively simple/cheap to sort. Sorry I can't offer any advice.
  21. Hmm... interesting. Many thanks everyone for your help. We're about to buy a house (today maybe!) and we're still considering two. One is slightly better but the bathroom(s!) are quite badly done so Mrs CD would want them re-done. She'd want to get rid of all the artexing in that house too so I nthink it'll all add up quite a lot. We'll probably go for the other one I think..... we can just leave it as it is and if we get any spare money just put it into the mortage rather than spend it on bathrooms. Thanks again folks - really really useful info there!
  22. No, not kill it. Take out all the bath and sink and toilet and re tile it and paint it and put fancy ones like Mrs Craig David might have seen in a showhome? Any ideas? More or less if the bathroom has a shower rather than a bath (to start with and you don't swap)? Thanks in advance. :nana2:
  23. I didn't mean that! Badger Baiting is terrible. You've got to monoxide them - you know - hosepipe into the sett or layer or whatever that hole they live in is. Only was to be sure.
