  1. This is a summer camping show, Friday to Sunday, with a "club" day Saturday and "public" day Sunday. It's fairly new, so quite a small show, but there was lot's going on. Some of us attended on the Sunday last year, and i think we all enjoyed it. They run some very good competition events that involve using your cars, and was a really friendly atmosphere. Car limbo, no stop gravity ball catch, sound offs, etc. Camping Tickets are £24 before 31st March, and £27.50 afterwards. Day pass tickets are £8 before 31st March, £9 afterwards, £10 on the gate. I only live 10 minutes away, but i am considering camping, as the atmosphere there was that good. If we apply as a club, we must have a minimum 5 cars on stand, and we will get 5 free weekend tickets.
  2. even if its just to win the highest output award? :D see you at Ace on 24th?
  3. if i have made it back from our week on isle of Mull by then, and am not too tired from the trip, then i will try to come down, but i am not sure if we come home on friday or saturday yet.
  4. As i have no interest in either the royal wedding or football, and the day currently appears clear in my diary, i will provisionally put myself in. :) 1. GSC +6 2. Craig
  5. unless i am away on holiday, then i will be up for this Steve, at least for the day if not the weekend
  6. oh ffs Russ, what an arsehole, although without witnesses its hard to prove he did it had similar problem in the past, knew who it was, their car showed matching damage, i reported it as hit and run, but police couldnt prove anything.
  7. best wishes Andrew!
  8. this has always been on my want list https://goo.gl/images/4YVgNN
  9. Well done on the new car. Gazwoz has certainly been responsible for a bringing a few crackers into the uk, and the club.
  10. read the description, it needs lots of welding on floor and sills, sounds like he got shafted by the seller, importing from US. i was looking at these last summer, as i really like this style of car from that era, these, Lancias, Fiats, etc
  11. bump as its fast approaching :) picked out the confirmed posts: 1. (adl) phoenix 2. Craig 3. Joely P 4. Chrisbasildon 5. ZEDDash 6. ZX-TT 7. bobba13 8. kgonzokia
  12. Just giving this a bump, as we are getting closer. After this month the remaining rooms will not be reserved for us and will be available to the public, so if you are planning to join in and stay, it would be good if you could call Paul and book yourselves in with a deposit sooner rather than later.
  13. coming along well Lee, nice one. we are coming up that way over Easter, so might pop in if we get a chance
  14. its ok, i think i found it, check now
  15. can you screenshot the error? have looked through all of your user settings and you have all the right subscribed member settings including messages.
  16. had similar issue, where one of the hinges was not aligned quite right, which prevented it from opening. looks like plenty of quirks to check before suspecting the cable itself
  17. I went to the bike show Saturday, and the car show didn't look very busy as we went past the doors. Certainly would not have wanted to pay full price for that one, compared to the NEC.
  18. Ah yes, completely forgot to mention subs while I was there.
  19. Haha, maybe. Although, I think you might kneed to rethink that  I checked the drain tube which seems to be fine, so I am not sure where the water has come from yet. I dried the carpet out yesterday and will check it again this weekend after some rain. And then decide if I am safe enough to sort that switch out or just leave it for the next visit.
  20. If there is some interest, we can certainly book a stand. I see it's £30 for a 10 car club pitch, outside the main halls. Then it is £13.50 per person entrance fee, and £21 if you are accepted for show n shine.
  21. Had my car in for timing belt and related parts, track down a boost leak and general check over. While it was there, I also managed to visit the Haynes museum and Funkysi before picking up the next day. All good. Thanks Jim.
