  1. quite common to grind the mounts a little. Which turbos are you using?
  2. :nono: not the silver one, I'm referring to this mystery slicktop StellaZ is possibly missing out on
  3. which car is this? someone spill the beans! or at least the specs:)
  4. FYI I originally had the prop and it was from PST
  5. yes, they are longer, which is why they come with shorter decat pipes ;)
  6. I'd suggest you do a compression test, just in case
  7. you haven't really got a chance from a standing start...
  8. get an alignment done or you'll most likely chew the new ones up the same way. When did you check the tires last?
  9. and leave thick black lines on the tarmac every where you go :D
  10. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=94975 a few old ones of mine
  11. you use a different chip that doubles the MAF reading. I would have thought it would be easier for you to switch to a MAP system so you can bin the MAF and get a bit more space for the single turbo conversion.
  12. there are 3 things that I know of martyn doing to get my setup to fit 1) cutting and rewelding inner wing to make more space! 2) ground a bit off engine mount and used the poly mounts instead of stock as they're smaller 3) Custom work on oil fiter housing to make space for actuator. good luck! will be worth it in the end as those turbos, 3" downpipes and GC manis will kick ass :)
  13. I have a 540 touring and it's great
  14. coming along nicely, which bits are you having problems with on the turbos?
  15. no, that top bit just pops off without removing anything else and the ABS unit is right there :)
  16. on the ABS unit (under the cover next to parcel shelf, behind driver seat)
  17. I run 9" at the front with 265 wide tires. Will dig out a pic tonight.
  18. fronts aren't too bad, I reckon the rears would be worse!
  19. oh dear. Get a urathane bumper if you can. I went flying over a speedbump a few years ago (didn't see it as it was dark), went airborne, bumper smashed into the road, both foglights and indicator light broken but the bumper itself just had some cracks in the paint :)
  20. 285's fit fine, all depends on the width/offset. Jonce, best search for offset and you'll get loads of info
  21. any pictures?
  22. leave the Zed at home mate
