  1. MOT passed this morning :)
  2. out of interest, what was the problem here?
  3. It is the sp-90 kit, will keep everyone infomed on how it goes. Can't wait! :nana2: The wheels are lightweight SSR's that I picked up on ebay for £350 ;) they were off a GTO of all things
  4. electric fan & shroud Ready to come home and it's home still some tidying up to do in the engine bay and some colour coding to do Next step is getting the AEM running.
  5. also fitted larger turbo inlet pipe (pass side still to be fitted) goosehonk killers fitted to re-circ valves
  6. these needed trimming as they were sitting in the bigger Throttle Bodies HICAS solonoid removed N/A PS pump, modified to fit with the larger piping
  7. making space for the wastegate actuator all done
  8. PS all fuel hoses are now clamped down
  9. more like what haven't I had done ! Mainly around getting these fitted (new turbos vs stock)
  10. For those that are interested, I finally got the car back today :hyper::hyper: Teaser pic, I have 80+ of the build in various stages which will be posted in due course Still loads of odds and ends to sort out before it's on the road
  11. That is a great idea! Well done to Jeff.
  12. can be done, i've fitted goose honk killers as I didn't fancy bov's anymore http://bde-performance.com/goose.htm
  13. lol, not seen one do it yet! and agree with Mike, if it was a GT2 it would have slaughtered a 300, even with the 530bb turbos.
  14. blimey, that's 3000 miles before opening it up fully!
  15. excellent  but get those brake pads sorted:slap:
  16. sounds like a mapping issue rather than the choice of ECU
  17. Ash spec. Should be able to compare the results between our setups as that's one of the few big diffs. There's a few things you have that I don't - but main performance ones are that you've got larger valves, tomei cam gears and 3" catback (I went 2.5" to keep noise down but still have 3" downpipe/testpipe).
  18. those are the ones :D I also have 2.5" IC's and pipework to go with them :)
  19. blimey, that's quite the shopping list you've got there. Really does look like you've bought every aftermarket part available for the 300zx! Specs are quite similar, though I have had some "issues" with the person building my car up. I visited it last week and though not where it should have been progress wise, it wasn't far off either. It'll be on my drive this week with MOT and I'll share my results with the board once I get it mapped.
  20. if your stock at the moment, then do the usual first to get you in the high 300's ie intake, exhaust, chip and increase boost to 14psi. There is a huge difference compared to stock.
  21. 1st: Flywheel power/torque 2nd: Wheel power/torque 3rd: Flywheel power/boost 4th: Flywheel power/AFR
  22. I have the same setup and it's ok, had to modify the chassis on both sides though. Also had to modify the downpipe as it was catching the steering column. Assume you have the full SZ exp-90 kit from SpecialtyZ?
