  1. They're 60mm TB's off another Nissan. Don't know the model as I picked up the polished plenum/ TBs together from another member some time ago
  2. and another day at the dyno today, can't say enough thanks to my pit crew (silverbullet & topless) who came to watch and soon ended up helping out :) Previous dyno (458rwhp), lag lag lag fixed some boost leaks, also had to fit some new, colder sparkplugs between runs. Result being: Rearwheel fly Not as laggy as before, feels good on the road. However, our first run for the second session spooled up around 6-800 rpm sooner so reckon there's a few more air leaks to find! Next jobs Adjust clutch to get 5th gear back tidy up ECU wiring micolor clamps all round and serious boost leak test
  3. For those still interested in this build! New Wideband sensors fitted. RPS Carbon/Carbon clutch fitted MAF's removed Dual Fuel Pump Controllers fitted
  4. I'll add that the AEM is up and running nicely :) the AEM does sometimes hic-up with the standard timing disc and the new fixes that, though I think I've only noticed one 'glitch' so far.
  5. yes, saw Jeffs thread, unfortunately doesn't say how to take it apart!
  6. Need to change the CAS disc for an AEM one. Have a spare CAS (thanks Topless!) and gone to start the work and realise it has tamper proof screws. Anyone done this before fancy giving me some tips before I attack it with a drill? :)
  7. I really like my fixed ones, Legarth has the same ones too. Drove to Berlin in mine and felt ok when I got there! Also don multiple trips to France, Belguim and the 'ring ;)
  8. Some quick updates: Boost leak fixed (uncapped vac pipes under throttle body) AEM wiring tidied up MAF's & JWT Dual pop piping removed (pic to be added) 2.5" Turbo inlet pipe on pass side fitted (replaces rubber accordian pipe) Remaining red vac hoses changed to black Electric fan now controlled by AEM, on at 85, off at 80, only on if engine running to preserve my battery. Heater Matrix hose sprung a leak, so fitted new ones tonight. While I was there, took a pic of the oil return feed from the back of the head back to the sump (there's one on each). pictures of the adaptors used Next jobs: Fit AEM CAS disc to CAS Fit new wideband sensors Wire second FuelPump Controller to run 2nd pump (currently running full bore all the time) Do boost leak test before going back to the dyno
  9. Jeff makes some good points, though I would say that the MSP Mani's and exhaust system are big passive contributors too. Your torque figures look quite healthy, but drops off very quickly but you can see that's a result of the boost dropping back to 1 bar higher up the revs. If you kept the boost at 1.2 bar up the rev range then power will keep going up :) I think if you go to a stand-alone, the results are pretty much down to the person mapping the car, rather than the type of ECU.
  10. it's running :) Boost leak sorted and hits much harder now. Only problem is that being a MAP setup I need it mapped again! Have an AEM CAS disc to fit to sort out the odd hiccup, and want to wire in a second FPC to manage the second pump instead of having it running full whack all the time before going back to the dyno and winding up the boost !
  11. more like any fast times :( isn't AndyDuff leading the leader board with a 12.7?
  12. search, everything has been covered before. Now that you know what you're looking for it should be easy. PS Conzult is diagnostic software
  13. Most likely your O2 sensors are knackered. While in closed loop (steady throttle) they are used and are causing your problems whereas on full throttle O2 sensor readings are ignored
  14. The point is that you'd expect these admin tasks to be included as part of the premium.
  15. time for an update. AEM is on and initial map up to 1bar, thanks to Topless for getting it to SRR while I was on holiday! A few issues to resolve including a boost leak to find then back to the dyno to start opening her up properly. Before anyone asks, I haven't got the graph or even seen it, I'm told 500bhp fly at 1bar. It's very driveable, power delivery is quite linear so fairly large leak somewhere or stuck wastegate. Anyhow, getting the AEM working means I've hooked up my new dash :) (ignore the boost value, still playing with it)
  16. lol, just the wideband sensor and gauge
  17. should be ok if you have a test booked
  18. welcome! Why the auto n/a? about the slowest of all the choices and may be disappointing if you are used to a TT
  19. One and the same border kit, approx 4 years ago! Getting Ryan@2bartuning to map it, currently booked for 13th July as my holidays overlap with his :( am exploring other options though Thanks for the map offer, I actually have one already for 850inj and 3.5 bar map so will give that a go first.
  20. This one weighs 4.9Kg and was the heavier of the options available
  21. and now tax'd :hyper:
  22. And that's exactly what I'm telling the insurance, using the non ABS setup. I managed to find a non-ABS master cylinder which are quite rare ;)
