  1. Right some progress updates 1) Clutch adjusted & bled and shifter refitted = 5th gear back 2) Carbon prop removed, stock prop fitted + urathane gearbox mount = vibrations over 90mph gone! 3) ECU wiring tidied up 4) Small fortune spent on Miklor clamps and fitted by Silverbullet = no more boost leaks Result equals torque, torque and torque :) No graphs today but making boost 1,000 rpm sooner, 500 ftlb of torque and similar power at 1.2bar compared to 1.6bar previously. Still have ignition problems, Ryan is speaking to AEM about best way forward.
  2. Fix a very occasional hiccup with the AEM. Will let you know how I get on as we're struggling to get it working properly.
  3. I'm going to guess 510 at the HUB for THOR's dyno
  4. did you speak to them? Went out for a little spirited spin and my 4th gear syncro is well and truly fried, suspect 1st to 2nd is going too!
  5. think you had other problems too, my VTC is still in place but not enabled yet on the AEM.
  6. how will VTC limit high rpm's as it's off over 5k rpm?
  7. thanks, food for thought as I lunched my 4th gear syncro the other night!
  8. does the OS giken kit include synchro's too?
  9. for the inlet, it's nearly all 2.5" except for the stock inlet pipe itself as it's crush bent and the accordian pipes, both of which can be replaced by 2.5" piping, no need to go bigger

  11. strange how Items 3 & 4 are nice round numbers ... you can also try CTM engineering to give you ball park figures
  12. surely you should hit 7psi with everything off and the stock boost solonoids disconnected...
  13. agreed, and with the speed sensor working properly back from the dash the steering is light at parking speeds then heavier on the roads automatically.
  14. right mine is fixed now that Silverbullit worked his magic. Clutch bled (lots of air), pedal adjusted, and most importantly, shortshifter turned around the right way!
  15. that's right. border fuel rail with 850cc inj. only problem I see with 1 pump per line is you're screwed if you loose a pump!
  16. I have 2 pumps via 2 lines -> 2 fuel filters -> y-piece -> 1-line into fuel rail -> fuel pressure adj -> 1 line back to the tank
  17. that'll be an E46 M3, and also 15 years younger than a 300zx so would expect less things to go wrong!
  18. I've removed mine completely and have a Master Cylinder from an NA(non-ABS model) and run new brake lines
  19. how was it in the end? did you get a decent pedal and get fifth back?
  20. I have a similar problem after a clutch/fly change, but thankfully it's engaging at the bottom of the pedal. No fifth though, same as you. I'm guessing air in the system or pedal needs re-adjusting. let me know how you get on!
  21. if you have to ask ... must be getting onto 40k for the whole car now over the last 4years (not including insurance and fuel)
