  1. i've put a review in the review section...
  2. received the pass today, thanks again :)
  3. probably not worth changing it now though as the amount you lose cancelling one policy will easily be more than the savings going to another insurer (I would have thought so anyway)
  4. fitting is a doddle, takes about about 1-2 hours, all you have to do is splice in the right wires to the ECU
  5. took around an hour to set my S-AFC and AVC-R up.
  6. you can gain a lot of power when the chip is running too rich, so gains will differ depending how good your current setup is. Don't really need an AFPR unless you want to try and push more fuel in for more boost. You can then use the afc to correct the fueling across the entire rev range as the AFPR is not very subtle
  7. you have PM mate
  8. The chip could use different timing. Also changing the fuelling will affect your power. mind you, I still think the UD pulley makes quite a difference, surprised me when I moved it over to the SWB, even at 9psi.
  9. has it been wired correctly ie did he splice into the correct wire for rpm?
  10. what mods do you have? I would get intake and exhaust first before bothering with a chip. once you've got the breathing sorted, get yourself a chip and crank the boost up :D bear in mind you will be putting more strain on the rest of the car then though, including the auto box
  11. think he ment the idle goes up to cool it down Paul ;) still *****cks though
  12. I ran out of petrol half a mile from the docks when I picked my first one up!!
  13. No Problem mate
  14. from the FAQ section ... http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=26120
  15. try pushing all the coilpacks down, chances are ones popped out during the spirited driving. If that does the trick, then take the offending one off, put a dab of super glue or blue tack on the plastic and push it back down.:D

tire prices jump a bit when going from 17's to 18's. Other than that, can't see any problems ;)
  17. I also have an ARC rad and they work the same as other ones
  18. your 17's may have had little plasic rings to make it bigger and allow them to fit. I you have them on the hub you can probably take them off with a small screw driver. Stock alloys should fit then
  19. if no one closer offers I'll pop up :)
  20. I've started the process of putting a set of Cobra Imola's in mine... will post some pics once complete.
  21. Smithy has side skirts and rear bumper for sale for a SWB, look in the For Sale section Well done on the SWB though. you can send me pics at james 1 morgan @ blueyonder.co.uk (no spaces) and I'll post them for you.
  22. nice one Stuart, how long before she's back on the road?
  23. Highly recommend fitting a UD pulley, you can feel the difference even on stock boost, judging by the ass dyno!

for that price he can't really complain. I would advise you tell him to take the car to a Zed specialist to get their opinion. I would definately try to get a second opinion as the number of times I've seen garages mis-diagnose things on here...
