  1. think it might be down to the slick top as the top's a different shape...
  2. the SWB one is shorter and a slightly different shape. maybe it was just mine, let me know if yours is the same
  3. US ones are the wrong side  (got as far as nearly paying for one before I realised!)
  4. anyone know where I can get a triple a-pillar pod for a SWB? The old one off a 2+2 doesn't fit. It's a also a slicktop..... Cheers
  5. what bulbs are you using?
  6. I have one, happy with it :D nice short shift, makes a nice soft clunk from gear to gear.
  7. single exhaust pipe being split to two
  8. how much boost are you running with the current tips? You'll need an after market gauge to tel for sure, and definately before you start experimenting with boost levels.
  9. out of interest what spec are the rears? (having just bought some R34's for the front:D)
  10. the R32 ones are the same as the standard 300zx ones. You'll want R33 or R34 GTR setups for an upgrade
  11. can we have details of the offset etc
  12. I've moved mine around, but it is seriously loud, think of the V8's at Santapod without exhausts - sounds like that. don't think I'd drive on the road like that though sounds cool though :hyper:
  13. I'm in, happy to pay up to £150ish
  14. you can have them whenever you're ready...
  15. Count me in :hyper:, don't mind when
  16. I'd be interested :hyper:
  17. I also have a cloth set going spare if you can't wait that long. They're going in the bin otherwise and that would be a shame In the process of installing bucket seats and harnesses...
  18. and to remove the pulley, use a pulley puller :)
  19. I'm sure I put mine in fifth to do it, I think that's what it says in the UD pulley install details too. Maybe that's worth a go
  20. had the same thing, centre of the dial had worked loose from the backing and was rubbing on the needle. Anything below 70mph and it was a bit hit and miss, and quite often would be showing as 40mph when I was sitting still. Just fixed with a small drop of superglue behind that bit. don't have to keep tapping the cluster now when going past speed cameras to check my speed!
  21. deffo TPS, even though mine was adjusted correctly, every now and again the idle would go sky high for a while, then a few traffic light later it would be OK. I replaced with a known good unit and that sorted it.
  22. read this ;) http://www.aus300zxclub.com/tech/Alarm.htm

Hi Mitch, Welcome to the mad house over here! Cheers, James
  24. even though you're getting code 55, doesn't mean you're not detting and going into safety boost. Does it always read half-way, or only after driving for a while? maybe you just got a boost leak or two. Borrow a decent after market gauge and see what boost you're actually getting.
  25. Changed my spark plugs today and did a compression test while I was there. First time to do one, but I think the results are OK. Anybody want to share their opinions? Back 155 165 160 150 150 145 Front Previous plugs were in a pretty healthy state so that's always promising :)
