Speed sensor is on the gearbox somewhere - probably doesn't help much!! Edited since above sentance is no help! read this http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=37029&highlight=speed+sensor
  2. I'd look into the AFM error code first, as that would introduce a rev lmit at around 2.5k rpm if there's problems. Check the Coneection is secure to the MAF, and check the voltage.
  3. how's about using the journal for this? PS looks good so far!
  4. I think there are USB kits around but to be honest you may as well go wireless if you don't mind spending a little extra I paid £80 not long ago for a wireless router/hub and wireless PCMCIA card
  5. something wrong there, most likely to do it in 5th as you'll be pulling for longer, and the temps will rise quickly. 15psi is going to strain stock injectors and I found mine was leanest when the turbo's were spooling, even though it was over fueling at high rpms. Solution is to turn the boost down and get your A/F ratio measured.
  6. I had a carbon one. Very happy with the quality, but had vibration issues. Had it balanced locally and now it's fine. Had it fitted the same time as UD Pulley, so can't tell the difference it made, but both together was quite surprising.
  7. yes, it has it's own flywheel. It won't mate up to a standard one. Dunno what size it is though.
  8. do you mean your sig, or your avatar? Avatar is 100x100. No limit as such for the sig ones apart from practicality
  9. I have a HKS twin plate. Takes a little while to get used to, specially in trafffic. Once your moving it's great! Don't expect anyone else to like driving your car though :D
  10. All the twin turbo's are SWB's in the US.
  11. let us know what you find

  13. Cheers guys, and yes I got some new jeans
  14. I'll be there :D
  15. Paul / Vinz, What settings have you got dialled in at the moment for Front and rear? Just curious as I'm putting mine on next week and wanted a good starting point before fiddling with it
  16. quite easy, set aside a few hours though, especially with the wiring to the ECU. there's a write up on tt.net. If you search I'm sure I've posted a link before now
  17. yup, they're a good set, have some in the garage waiting to be fitted myself. Price is good, though I know some people have had problems buying this sort of thing through ebay. Not saying it's dodgy, just be careful, and good luck!
  18. this piece of adware got me last night! what a pain in the arse  Installed SpyBot and Adaware in the end (I know, I should have had these running anyway to block it), but they still couldn't completely remove it. As soon as I fired up IE it would try to put itself back. In the end I found something called CWShredder. This is specifically designed to remove it, so if anyone has the same problem, just donwlaod that straight away then install Spybot afterwards
  19. some aftermarket rads do have smaller openings, I remember SMW1's Howe rad having the smaller ones. I'm sure Smithy can get you a silicon reducer of the right size.
  20. when are you picking her up?
  21. where's the leak? front or back. Chances are it's the high pressure hose as that's quite a common one.
  22. not having a go mate, though you'd used the old stock ones and still had the nylon ones hanging around. I have the same kit and intially had some problems after "adapting" (read hacking) the nylon ones to fit. Swapped the old stock ones back in and it's sweet now. Cheers, James
  23. if these are the white platic ones that come with the shifter, just chuck them as they don't fit. They only cost a few quid though for the stock ones
