  1. semi metallic pads are a very good start, also brake lines and Master Brake Cylinder brace give you more confidence. As Jock says though, check your calipers are working to their full potential and that none of the pistons are stuck. Skyline kits are £500-£600 and offer bigger calipers and disks. Aftermarket kits like AP, Stoptech, Brembo will be around £1700 +
  2. Hi mate, I have de-cat pipes on my TT that have small resonators in them already, and having got used to my last Zed having no resonators I'm thinking of having them removed. Let me know if you fancy a swap!
  3. not at the moment, just remembered the link :D plus I'm strugling for traction in 1st & 2nd so shorter gearing would make that worse! would be great at the pod though with the slicks on
  4. these? http://www.specialtyz.com/transmission1.htm
  5. Spoiler was on the car already, it was the old LWB that had a shaved rear... Harness is bolted to the floorpan for the lapbelts, top ones on the harness bar that's part of the rollbar. Paul, no problem mate, I'll PM you when you're back. As for more mods, lots of things to come, but nothing cosmetic :D
  6. some newer pics of the SWB as there have been a few changes ;)
  7. used to have this on my old one, turned out to be the TPS in the end. Replaced it with a good and that sorted it.
  8. ideal time to fit an underdrive pulley if you can get hold of one - you'll be surprised at the difference
  9. you probably need to get a full alignment done first, then go from there. did you have 18's before?
  10. LOL! very handy for powerful rear drive cars exiting corners :D
  11. It belongs to someone off of tt.net
  12. Just had a local garage fit some rear tires. Had a look at the car yesterday and they've damaged the rim on one alloy quite badly and it will need refurbishing. They said the old tyre wouldn't come off and that's why it happened. I've not yet paid for the work or picked up the car, so where do I stand? Personally I think they should have called me when the tyre wouldn't come off so I could accept the risk of the alloy being damaged or taken it somewhere else to be done....
  13. what size water hoses and how much will I need to do the throttle body by-pass?
  14. that's about 20 stone (I think) !
  15. try the yellow pages mate, found a company up the road from me and they charged £40 per go, doesn't depend on the number of items either so try to get all the stuff you want done in one go. They did my roll bar and I was very happy with the results. you may need to pay them more if the springs need to be prepped - old paint removed etc

I would say vacuum leak and maybe TPS. Greg- if your idle is high at some lights, but not others, then check your TPS. I had the smae problem, but once I changed the TPS it was all sorted
  17. :nana2:
  18. sweet, just need some 99 spec rear lights :D
  19. rear is bomex, not WW. arches can be got from SPL parts - think they're do-luck or border
  20. the SWB boot is shorter and deeper so wouldn't fit at all
  21. As Andy said, does your steering go heavy too? in not then it's more likely to be the converter behin the dash
  22. DOH! shouldn't have worn my clown trousers  nice to be in the mag though :hyper:
  23. it's not too low, can't get a finger between my front wheel & arch !!
