Upper Camber arms
What a forum this is, some truly helpful and generous people. I don't chat on here as much as some, however I can honestly say that without this site I think that I would not have enjoyed Zed ownership as much as I have. Cheers, Tony

Upper Camber arms
What a Gent! If you have the front pair that would be great, let me know how much you want for them and I'll send you the cash; is PayPal ok?

Upper Camber arms
With the imminent MOT around the corner, last year I had an advisory on play in the Upper Camber arms. Can anyone recommend if i should stick to the original arms and just replace the bushes or should I get aftermarket replacements. There are plenty on eBay but I'm unsure of the quality? If I was to replace the bushes in the OEM arms, where is the best place to get them and what is the rough cost? Many thanks.

Engine Hoist and Stand
Yeah, good point. On my engine stand I changed the wheels to larger heavy duty casters, mainly because my concrete garage floor is not the smoothest; cheap modification and all is well.

Engine Hoist and Stand
The Car club I belong to at work have these and they are a great bit of kit for the money and a wise investment. As for the lump, yes a two man lift will safely move it onto a trolley, however, once you have the crane lift, you can transfer the lump easier. The only issue is that they are a big bit of kit to store if you are not using them often or don't have the space.

Good too hear buddy, keep up the hard work!

My winter build arrived yesterday;)
Oooh, could be a small market for them, I didn't think about 3D printing one. It would be difficult, I suppose a starting point would be to create a 3d box around an original bumper, take the box dimensions and start from there......1/24-25.

Best wishes for Chrimbo and 2016.
It's been a quiet year for me and the Zed due to work and where my work has sent me, however for 2016 I have been told that I will be mainly in the UK. So my Zed is coming out of her Coma and hopefully this year coming I will again be able to dedicate more time to our region. We will again 'ride out' around East Anglia and attend a few shows. Please accept this message as my best wishes for Christmas and for the New Year. For those I have yet to meet, hopefully we will in the New Year. For those of you (like Ted) that have monsterous projects on the go........hurry up and get those new parts on, put some tax on the old girls and get them back on the road. If you ever need a hand, give me a shout and I will help where I can. Anyway guys (don't think we have any gals.......yet!) best wishes and I look forward to meeting up in the new year. Ted, I haven't forgot Scampton and the Red Arrows. You have until Summer to put your car back together and to bring Denise over for some Photies.

As Tamiya and Fujimi only do the SWB non turbo engine with turbo bumper; I geeked it up and modified it to the TT engine and as close as I could get to my wheels .:gunsmilie:

your favorite machine ever made in human history
For me, only one machine still packing the punch! Even Typhoon can't deliver what this old girl can.

Jap rear ends witch one looks best
Yep, paved the way for all to follow. However the NSX front is sexy, just a shame about the shopping trolley handle rear end. It's the light stalks on the rear joining to the spoiler that dates the car in my mind.

Interior chrome door handle
havent a part no, ut they came off a Terrano/Maverick. Look for aset of second hand ones, rare though now...obviously.

Happy Birthday Steams

Fitting Twinz side skirts
If you have to drill into your sill/door jam, rear and front wings; do treat the holes with rust proofing primer and coat the self tapping screws with a sealing compound. I would also coat between the skirt and the sill with a hardening protective grease like PX32 or XG250 silicone spray that will prevent moisture penetrating the parts of the car that will be covered up.
