Sunday August 31st
Hi all, a little reminder. Summer is running out and don't I know it! I have been off flying with the Red Arrows for the last month or so but I'm now back. On Sunday 31st August I will be displaying my car at the Classic and Sports cars by the lake and as I stated earlier in the year, this is a great show for our area and good day out for the family. If any of you are interested in displaying your Zed you will have to let me know asap or just come along for a day out, I've booked the weather! Maybe see you there. Cheers Jeff, I will be having a look in the morning and hopefully this will be my issue. Is this an injector failure or fitting (me) issue?

Plenum change, massive mechanical bang! Arrrrrgh! Help please.
My number 5 injector decided to injector decided to stop working so I thought that I would pull the plenum and carry out the water pipe delete whilst I'm at it! To say everything went accordingly to plan would be a lie. For those who have managed to take off and refit a plenum in a few hours, I congratulate you. Anyway, with the injector replaced I carried out the water pipe delete on the plenum and completed the rebuild. All vacuum pipes and electrical connections made I cranked the engine! The engine turned over and then made a horrible mechanical BANG and wouldn't turn over. I have unplugged all the electrical plugs and followed the wiring harness schematic and everything seems to be correct. The only thing that I might have got wrong is the 2 plugs on the back of the engine that are the same, one of them being the VTC plug. Could this be the cause and what damage can it do? I just can't understand why the mechanical bang/engine lock? Please help. A simple enough job gone terribly wrong!! Cheers, Tony.

Newb - Drooling over z32s
Yes mate, the TT LWB 4 seats 2+2 are plentiful. As mentioned before, do travel and be very selective. There are plenty of people on here who can offer advice. Your budget could get you a nice car but be aware of those that that have been tricked out by Halfords. By the way, always had a soft spot for the humble MX 5, your one looks to be lovely and you should have no problem selling it privately. My Mrs has a mk 1 and I love driving it from time to time, always nice to get back in the ZED though.

25th Anniversary meet - Action required
Yeah, unbelievable! Couldn't of booked it for a worse day of weather if we tried. Nevertheless, it will still be a good day and there should be breaks in the weather and the museum will provide plenty of cover.

Help! found some problems after routing round engine bay
The internal diameter of that pipe looks like it could be off one of the small pipes in front of the battery going to the inner wing?
-
Help! found some problems after routing round engine bay
One jet pipe branching off one of the vacuum pipes that run along the rear of the plenum joining both sides iirc.

Are you sure that's not an SE Nissan boost jet mod. It's looks very similar to what I had on my first zed?? I could be completely wrong.

Small piece of roof trim behind Targa
Has any one got the small piece of trim that sits rear of the Targa, in front of the rear hatch about 3'' long. My one must have 'pinged off' whilst removing the passenger side Targa! LH side needed if possible, in a good condition. Many thanks.

Official Flags and Banners are in the House !
Looking really good..........and very big! They look like a quality item, jealous. Guys don't throw the old banners away as not all REOs have them for their regions, and with it being car show season, I would greatly accept any condition/style one. How are the flags held up, is there a stand?

Vibration/rattle for the last 7 years
Whilst it was on a rolling road test bed at Snetterton. The engineer heard it as he was crouching by the passenger door shouting instructions to me. Next thing, car's was on a ramp with rear wheels in the air. To be honest he found it not me, I just sat in the car. The strangest thing about it was that it didn't make the rattle with just revs, it had to be under load!
