  1. Very calmly felt with mate! As for me, if that was one of my car's I'll tell you something for free, it wouldn't be bulbs I'd be planting in the grow-bag, it would be an old lady lol. Only jest. Just as well you were in the beast!
  2. How long are you away for mate, hopefully meet up when you're back, I'll take a ride up to your neck of the woods!
  3. Thanks Tony. I still want to go the 240/260/280Z route but will need to postpone it until after I've moved house and got room for two toys. Lol I'll keep an eye out for you and the beast while I'm up here at Scampton. Don't leave it unattended for long though mate, you might see it teathered to land rover making its way back to Suffolk!!

  5. Welcome back to ownership bud, that's a smashing looking car mate and I think you made the right choice. I always liked your previous zed and know that it is now in good hands. You also know that although the 240z is a hell of a classic car, these will be soon, but they will be a classic with muscle!! Another car saved and returned to the club! Nice.

  7. I should pay more attention Si, fook it.
  8. Check out Micro Mesh and plastic polish. It's designed for plastics and acrylics and you can get a really smooth finish. Amazon has a kit and its cheap. It's also very handy for scratches and for metal polishing. Used it for years in the aircraft engineering industry.
  9. Ignore last, just seen your post mate.
  10. I'll be there matey, as I said MOT March and back on the road for April, whoop whoop. You could of drove down to my place, I would have rolled my car out of the garage for some snaps. Well done mate, look forward to seeing you soon.
  11. Did you meet up with Steve mate, any pictures?
  12. Where about are you in Norfolk mate?
  13. Guy's, I will be getting my car MOT'd next month ready for the summer so will look forward to arranging an EA event and meeting some of you. This said I understand that it would be rather selfish of me not to support or attend something in the meantime. If anyone has any ideas please post them here and we can see what the response is? With the weather being so unpredictable at the moment I am struggling to think of a good venue so please add your thoughts. I live in Barnham on the Suffolk/Norfolk border, 25 minutes from Norwich 15 minutes from Bury St Edmunds. I was thinking that maybe if you let me know your availability over March, we can get our heads together and come up with a location, may be a pub somewhere. Depending on dates I might have to come in my Vectra.....yuk! Another idea is for a mini meet around my house(whilst my car is off the road). Meet and greet, Bacon sandwiches, tea and biscuits and a photo shoot at a local location depending on the weather. Saturday's or Sunday's are fine, it would be great to put faces to forum names. Let me know your thoughts and suggestions guys. Cheers. Tony
  14. Mate, gutted for you regarding your car. Good to hear that you are narrowing down the house search by ensuring that a garage is part of the deal. With a garage, you get a man cave With a man cave, you need space for tools With tools, you need to use them To use them, you need a zed! Hopefully one day.
  15. Simply brilliant!!! I for one have never seen this before, it put a big smile on my face.
  16. Ha ha mate, yeah, could of used my hoop as a bottle opener!
  17. Good work as usual Tom, but why are you trying to run mate, you're suspended and you're legs flapping like a good'n lol! Only joking! When I fast roped from a Merlin to HMS Ocean it wasn't only my legs that were flapping!!!! Good video mate, "shark watch" ;)
  18. Could be another injector down, especially if you have been pulling at and disconnecting the injector plugs, fragile at the best of times. I would not rule out bad fuel just yet either. I had a fiat as a runaround that ended up with blocked lines because of bad fuel. Tesco did compensate after a small war that I won. You if you suspect it is because of low octane buy an octane booster from halfrauds and squirt it in the tank!! Hope you get it sorted.
  19. Just as well you found the switch mate, you would of been caught short MOT time.
  20. Cracking effort there mate, they look fantastic!
  21. Hmmmm, maybe I'd best hold out for something a little bigger then, bugger! Thought at that price it would be worth getting, but no point buying it if I have to upgrade in the future. Cheers Andy. - - - Updated - - - Hmmmm, maybe I'd best hold out for something a little bigger then, bugger! 22. Guy's I desperately need to power up some tools and lighting in my garage and can lay my hands on a 3.3kw generator for £50, question is will this be sufficient to also power a small mig welder and a small compressor, obviously not all at the same time? I've looked on the net and some say yes and others no; hopefully someone will know more than me about generator, it's not hard, I know fook all!! Any advice appreciated, especially of those that are using a portable generator. Cheers.
  23. Looks nice but a bugger around corners. Have always loved the stance of a lowered Zed, and good job in the photo editing I see you have put a drop curb in also to aid the lowered beast. lol. Well done mate, look forward to pictures of the real deal!
  24. I'll have to meet up with you in the summer when I bring my zed to Anglesey. Welcome back to the nut house matey.
