1. Reminder for tomorrow if anyone's about??
2. Best getting a splash guard. Socks and other covers will surely disturb the amount of exposure/area that the filter surfaces are able to draw air in from. Best getting the right bit imho. Good luck
3. Done, cheers.
4. Next time Joely! Maybe do one a bit closer to you, let us know matey.
5. Hi all, Myself and Ted are meeting up at 1300 at The Cherry Tree 74 London Rd Harleston IP20 9BZ, United Kingdom Come along and have a lemonade in the beer garden ;) Does not matter if your ZED is not on the road, come along in any vehicle. It will be good to meet you. Cheers, Tony
6. Good on u Ted. Still meeting up next weekend? Hopefully we will get some more interest but it is pretty quiet in this region. See you soon matey.
7. Hi all, The Classic and Sports cars by the lake is taking place on Sunday 31st August, again apologies as I know that this is a fair way off but it is becoming a rather popular event for petrol heads in our region who like to display their cars and has become a great day out. http://www.hallfarmfornham.com/classic-sports-cars-by-the-lake.html Unfortunately it is only going to be a one day event, but for this region with 400 to 500 displayed prestigious marques it is a good day out for car enthusiasts and family/friends. I have the application forms for both singular entry and for a club stand. I will be definitely going and it would be great if there are enough of us to have our own stand. I have been in contact with the organizers and have told them that it is the 300zx 25th birthday and depending on numbers attending, could we have our own 'special area.' This has been agreed but now it depends on numbers. As I've mentioned on previous threads, this is not Goodwood festival but it is well worth a visit. There is a show and shine, best car in category comp and other entertainment. There are also the usual burger vans, a few things for the children to do, a BEER tent, craft stalls, car photography, etc etc, a good set up around a small lake. The show is situated on Hall Farm in Fornham St Martins in between Bury St Edmunds and Thetford. If there is anything I can help with ie, local places to stay, pubs, shops etc let me know. If a few of you fancy making more of a weekend of it or are travelling from far a field and fancy 'roughing it' for the night you are more than welcome to pitch a tent in my garden. I will obviously get the BBQ going and I always have a fridge full of beer. If there is more interest than I anticipate and Tony's Campsite looks like it will burst at the seams I may be able to arrange a larger area for us. Anyway, have a look at the website and let me know if any of you are interested. As soon as I start getting numbers I will start the admin. Any ideas or suggestions please let me know. All the best, Tony
8. Ahhh, I was wondering what happened to all those jada models!! Nice little collection.
9. Ah nice, good idea, after all who wants a seventy foot garden. Build the man cave and you have less grass to cut which in my mind means more time to mess around with what you eventually put inside the garage. Good luck with the house move mate.
10. Cheers Si, I almost got a compliment off you there dude, almost!lol. Yes the wheels???? I have a set of 19's that I am refurbishing currently. The ones in the picture I think I will keep for when the car is in storage.
11. Ooooh, great find buddy. Yes it does look the same, good spot my friend!!! Now just need to figure out if to keep it or get rid?? Hmmm, decisions decisions.
12. Yeah, i like it too but not too sure what it is and have never seen one on another Zed?
13. Hi all, I've had this sitting in my garage for the last few years and before I do anything with it, I would like to know what type/make/copy blah it is? It came off my Jap 89 TT import which was shipped over here in 2001. Really like the style but not too sure if i want to fit it to my other car. Any help appreciated.
14. Not too bad, would of liked to have wheeled my car out of the garage by now but Queen and country had other ideas and sent me away again! After sandbagging for the victims of the bad weather and floods I was due to have a few weeks off, but oh no! Sent away, back next week hopefully. I need to get the car MOT'd and then I'll drive up to your area bud. Ta
15. When are you back home mate?
16. Yes, both my manual Zeds don't have it and 2 out of my 3 auto' s had the bracket although just to add confusion, I'm sure there was no loom up that far???
17. Yes, I'm with you on this one. Running lights are and can be a good idea if kept in keeping with the era the car was made, in the Zeds case bulbs. LED' s IMO are for cars that are lot newer. Only my opinion each to there own!
18. Thank God for high insurance premiums, well at least in our case lol. Corsa it is then! Ha ha.
19. It will only end up biting you in the ass later, my daughter has grown up with my Zed and guess what she wants as a first car..........? She has just turned 14 and is telling me that 'anything under a 3ltr just won't do!' Joy!!!
20. I'm pulling my ZED out of the garage tomorrow for the first-time this year, getting it ready for the MOT. If you are around my way, pop round mate.
21. More screens than the starship enterprise, lol. 'We need more alternator power Scotty!!!' Definitely one for the shows, especially if you can rig up a satellite feed, football and F1 on the go, sweet!

23. Cheers Gary, should be fun!!
24. I can't wait, I'm going to Budapest this year to watch Hamilton smash the field!! It's going to be a good season for the Brits,.....I hope!
25. Maybe not the colour you are after, but at least you can almost guarantee........no rust! Mate, as for your wife, if she is going out there with you she will just have to understand that in Saudi, men rule! It's going to be a great adventure mate, just accept their customs and beliefs and try not to let it get in the way of the experience, easier said than done sometimes but I'm sure it will be super. Good luck
