  1. yep head on down to Pigal i think the district is called, kinda like londons Soho, apparently :p but be warned u will be hassled on the street a lot as they try drag u in every club possible, and pressured to buy the lovely girls drinks that sit come sit on your lap
  2. is the fuel pressure regulator prone for pi$$in petrol out the pipe that leads from the bottom of it? mine seems to spray out loads on start up for about 20 seconds then stops, im pretty sure its coming out the metal pipe that fits inside it, rather than the pipe that joins the rubber hose, but it is hard to tell.
  3. i would say servicing cost and reliability is the major concerns, but in terms of efficiency they are able to produce a lot of power from a small capacity, but they are very thirsty in the process.
  4. this is the one i saw tick tick boom
  5. i just tried them and they said no imports :(
  6. well done mate, youve got one of the best looking zeds and to get all that done in a year is pretty good goin, ive had mine a year too, and its sat outside still waiting to be painted, ive got 600 quid of bits waiting to go on it, but it will be worth the wait im sure. keep up the good work
  7. zed from n-trance video !
  8. lurvly G reg white nissan micra, with brown interior, electric nothing, 4 speed, with dodgy 3rd, saisho cassette player that only tunes to 1 station and chews tapes up, 1 speaker, no passenger side wing mirror, 4 bald tires, but does do about 45 mpg, it also makes me appreciate the zed even more tho when i get back in it.
  9. so the rear spoilers no longer available?

  11. yeah must be the strangest setup up ever, great for when its summer and blast out icey cold air, but can i get any heat out of the damn thing, at normal running temp i set it to 25 and its blowing like mad and nothing comes out any vents, if i turn the defogger on it blows lovely hot air over the windscreen tho. then sometimes it will blow out the front vents but it has got a mind of its own.
  12. Guy in middle is saying "These zed boots make a great shitter"
  13. reminds me of the atari st days when codin crews would do there best to push the limits of the machine by doin demos that made you wonder why the hell cant games programmers make use of the hardware instead of turnin out consistantly crap games.
  14. something odd about that picture

  16. i really like soarers, there a powerfull, big comfortable motor, i almost went for one over the zed, and as u say build quality is excellent and toyota engines are sweet. but back on topic i dont see as a 2.5 tt as a grandad mobile, ok so it wont turn as many heads as the zed will, but with that lump under the bonnet who cares.
  17. my mates tend to tell me its feels very claustrophobic in the back, and cant wait to get out, i think its the lack of ventilation and the tiny little windows that does it. but ive carried 3 6 foot odd mates in the back on the pub trip, it kinda gets one of those funny stares when 5 huge blokes get out this tiny interiored car.

even easier is a program called dvd shrink and its free, u can compress diferent bits of the film at diferent ratios, rip out unwanted audio tracks and decrypt on the fly. very high quality output too. obviously this is only to be used with dvds u own the copyright too as anything else would be highly illegal. but we all new that.
  19. then on top of that youve got the new Barton core xp cpus with more onboard cache memory 512k instead of 256 and a diferent mhz rating as well. for example a xp 2500 barton core runs at 1833 mhz which is a slower clock speed than say a 2400 (thoroughbred) that runs at 2000 but they use 166 front side bus as opposed to thorobreds and the increased cache memory improves repetive instruction operation. so they get a higher xp rating. but they can prove slower in some apps such as video encoding and gaming where instructions are constantly changing just get the fastest you can afford and u cant really go wrong, for normal windows apps a xp2200 should suffice, only go for higher ratings if your doing anything cpu intensive

had my falk 451's on for nearly a year now, hardly any wear and very good grip, but they will spin in the wet but im sure any tyre will, full set of 18's came in at 500 quid so pretty reasonable i think for the performance they offer.
  21. i wasnt gonna do my self, just needed to know what type of socket and where from. i wouldnt trust my self with a garden fork never mind soldering iron
  22. i thought while the cars off the road i might as well get the ecu socketed and go for a chip upgrade. were can i get the socket that needs to be soldered in from. is there any caution required when removing the ecu from the car. thanks muchly
