well i only use my zed as a weekend car and i got thru a set of falken 451's 225 40 18's front 265 35 18s rear only fitted last january, ready for replacing, they cost 500 quid fitted looking at toyos for the rear and they run about 170 quid each !!!!!

well keep saving and dont buy the 1st one u see although it will be tempting, im in mansfield btw

er where from and how much tread on them ?

if its got all the relevant service history then i dont see it as a concern, but if it has any dodgy history then walk away, these beast needs some serious tlc and any scrimping on servicing is a bad thing, think theres a few of us from the notts area sure one us could have a look with u

makes it look very dated imo, doesnt suit it at all.

mines a G reg and does the same, u really have to bury the clutch in the carpet and force it in, but it dont bother me as its only my 2 and from work car, and yes its slow yes its crude yes its got a hideous brown interior but it does 40+ mpg and i havent spent a penny on it in 6 months, one of the most reliable cars ive had,

i take it u dont have any upto date virus software at the moment? get some quick virus can do damage and degrade performance quite badly ie taking up cpu time by constantly looking thru hard drive for email addys and sending them using up your bandwidth. free checker will do a scan of your system and route out any viruses, if they cant be deleted by this program u might need a removal tool just do a search on google for "virus name" removal and that should help. install some virus software and keep it upto date, one that supports real time scanning and email protection preferably, i use norton and nothings got past it yet.

ok so i was down the B&Q the other day and to my disbelief i saw couple trying to get 6 standard size fence panels into the back of a fiat bravo, i saw them take the trolley loaded up and bring it up to the rear of there car, i just thought tomyself no chance, anyways i load my stuff up and took the trolley back, pulls off and they're still trying to get this stuff in the car, the birds just there hands on hips while the fart knocker of a bloke is trying to manovre these panelsl into this tiny car. another thing i remember of mass stupidity is when i worked at pc world and some guy buys a desk, now these flat pack beasts are quite heavy and rather large, and im out side having a smoke and the sales assistant bring it out on a flat bed trolley and takes it to there car and what do they have? a mini ffs, then they just lob it on the roof and strap it down with rope thru both windows no rack on it or anything, :rolleyes: whats the stupidist thing uve seen people try to load into there car

i got stopped in chesterfield after some mates of mine got into a fight i went to pick them up and drove round the corner past loads of police, only to be confronted by a wall of police, heard this guy on the radio saying ive stopped a red car, what make is it, the other guy said er dunno just stop a big red thing lol, :rofl:

zed centre do the kits, then u gotta add install costs, or diy id say about a grand minimum

i get the same, i think its due to the fact that the engine bay is pretty sealed, so the only way for the heat to escape is under the car, the zorst get rather hot too.

rather uncanny this as today i was thinking ive been on here just over a year and things have certainly come along way, the boards had its ups and downs but i think with the group buy section/traders sections/ sorted FAQs things are really starting to look and feel like an organised club, ive only been to one meet the Thorsby one last year and didnt really get to speak to many people but those i did were helpfull and not in the least bit hostile. big thanks go to those that have done FAQs, sorted group buys and generally bent over backwards to help a growing community. together we are a vast hive of knowledge and i think this is whats needed, whether it be zed related or not, we all have an expertise in some field or another and this i feel is invaluable. i like many others have put a lot of time and money into a fantastic car that i feel would have probably given up on if it werent for the backing of many of u guys on here. so my thanks go out the club and all its members who have helped :bow: :bow: :bow:

sounds more like dodgy wiring to the sensor, get someone to wiggle the connector harness at see if it affects the reading, theres 2 on the outlet pipe, left side is ecu sender right side is dash sender, looking from front hth

seem to remember this being discussed before, i think my j spec auto has the stop on it, some had a nut u could wind down to let the linkage go further

i knew that maybe didnt word it right, JDM cars dont have this safety feature tho do they?
