hi and welcome, the mechanics side are very reliable if serviced as they should be, things that go wrong tend to be perishable things such as water pipes, connectors, sensors etc. since owning mine have had to replace all the water pipes a couple of sensors and a power steering pipe, and cam belt, other than that no problems at all, u do hear nightmare stories and there are plenty on here, but check out any other high performance forum and no doubt you;ll find the same, just make sure u get it checked over or better still buy one off this forum, hth

thanks for the reply, well it looks like the box you was on about had been removed and connector blocked had been bridged out rather than cutting, but i did what u said and it worked ok, cheers rob

as above really , the left side works and i swapped the bulbs over and thats ok, also should there be 2 bulbs light up each side cos i only get the outer left one lighting up, its that long since i have the car up and running i cant remember if both should light up either side, so to sum it up, ive checked the stop light fuse thats ok, all 4 bulbs light up when i turn the lights on, but only the out left bulb lights up when i apply the brake, but he other three bulbs light up in that holder ok confused i am

i bought a 200sx s14a in june this year, very nice car too as a daily driver, then sum blind tit coffin dodger decided to pull right in front of me and leave me no time to do anything about it, currently in the body shop, so the 300zx got hit buy a drunk driver who then left without a trace and now the 200 is buggered, least his insurance is sorting this one, currently drivering round in a roller skate more comenly known as a Ford KA and its absolutely horrendous.

there are some sub 11 sec zeds out there just not many in uk if any, but hopefully MAC1's gonna change that :hyper:

well considering some Tw@t just pulled out in front of me not half an hour ago and smashed the front end of me 2 month old 200sx i still managed to lol

i did look at them when i was buying but thought they were well over priced

i used to work in pc world, fitted in just fine :rofl:

ive had a nissan micra as a daily driver but traded it for a s14a and very nice it is too

watched The Transported the other night, another luc besson jobby, some nice car chases and fight scenes too.

think u need a seperate switch and it needs to have and led of some sort on it to show its switched on

well no joy, i tried both pipes and it seems the matrix ends are a smidgen smaller so couldnt get them on the block outlets, ne mind ill pop down the autofactors and take the pipe, that way i cant go wrong, suprisingly the car car started 1st turn of the key, not been turned over for about 4 weeks, no missing or spluttering, just need to get it back drivable so i can get it down the body shop

i have the series 1 and only really get full fan speed when set to defrost and the highest temp, the fans wont blow any more than they need to due to it being controlled by a computer, there is a low and high speed fan on the series one not sure about the s2 tho

anyone know what size diameter and length of hose to get to do this, my guess is about a 12inch peice should do it with out kinking, but thought id ask i as know some of you have done this, cheers rob

yep that really is cool, just goes to show theres no other car that even slightly resembles the zed, the concept was way ahead of its time, but the zed was designed on a good old drawing board non of this fancy cad malarky,

have to agree i was dubious about these but in the flesh they looked fanfeckingtastic
