i thought leatherette was just a posh name for vinyl, any hows ive found some black alcantara on ebay its around £25 for 1mx1.3m inc postage each piece after that is £21 would 2 of these be ok, to anyone that has done it or is 3 better and did this do the rear panels as well?

holy thread bump i'm in the process of going to a black interior, i picked up some front seats today and they appear to be very very dark grey but not black, is that what colour they should be or have they faded. if i got black colour restorer would it not match?

reasonable price but not proper leather, SMW had a guide on the seat retrim using the Zcentre kit, looked fairly straight forward if you have the tools and patience. I personally don't like the leather/vinyl look on the doors and is trying to find some decent alcantara suede effect stuff like what the series 2 came with.

what about alcantara does that stretch, and anyone know where to get it.

some good riffs nice and melodic vocals sounds like scott from anthrax a bit. all in all i like

the software out the box was a little sluggish, now fixed by a simple rom update, they get warm not seriously hot. the only problem i have now is around 6 people where i work have them as they'r so good.

i have the tmobile version of the diamond same internals slightly less plasticky and rounded, its a very nice phone but you will need to update the rom as the early version is sluggish, the 640x480 screen of the diamond is a joy to use also, the omnia has 320x240 but does have a 5mp camera, though the 3.1 on the diamond is very good.

i've just booked a week in Benidorm for £240 self catering all in, goin to a travel agents the cheapest i could find in a decent location was £360, so there are savings to be had if you search around. Also the more "hits" a holiday gets in the shops they will put the price up purely because it has interest, so don't keep hitting that refresh button!

i seem to remember something in the 300zx companion book about the design looks wise, coming 1st and everything else had to be compromised, like they ditched 4x4 as would have upset the low slung lines of the bonnet. With all the technology they crammed into it for a full production car i think they did pretty well. there was bound to be problems with that engine bay with heat and reliability, it has its niggles but i think it was a very brave car to produce and i'm glad they did cos i love it. niggles aside :bow:

people are still hearding towards thinking diesel is the cheaper option, in most cases its only a few hundred quid saved over 3 years, i definately would never buy diesel too noisey and horrible to drive.

just an update the engine is now running again turns out it was the imobiliser had messed up , its having all fluids changed full set of pads rear tyres this week, its coming along nicely, must be 3 years since its been on the road, i lost enthusiasm for it but its now returned and cannot wait to get back zedding.

it finally got painted on friday only taken 3 years thats mates rates for your, still alot of building up to do and but its getting there. its a very flat finish hardly any orange peel effect very happy with it. the picture looks cloudy as the lens on my camera phone fell off and had to be super glued back on and went everywhere :wack:

how good is water based paint very shiny :rofl:

i met some lass from sheffield many years ago and she said i was a beermonster after our 2nd date, i setup an internet connection not long after and it was the 1st thing that sprang to mind, stuck ever since,i did sink 12 pints which at the time wasnt unusual for me, although it took an age to convice her that cobs are what you put ham n cheese on and tabs are what you hear through.
