  1. not over the 068 from there as its 270mm so 5mm over, but might just fit on the 088.
  2. is the device pairing up ok then do you get any indication on the amp as such?
  3. does it appear in the sound control panel as another set of speakers maybe, select those rather than the default internals on the laptop. Its just guess mind you.
  4. Just measured the 068 and it comes in at 260L x 175w so it seems the stated size of 272L is a bit out.
  5. I ordered a 068 from these its not the best name in batteries but has a 2 year warranty, they do a 088 also good price on the 068 :hyper: 068 088
  6. Is it down as an 88 on your policy schedule?
  7. Very nice and sensible mods too, check the underside though as the uks are quite bad for corrosion.
  8. Thanks for all the compliments much appreciated:duffer: Originally I was having a 99 spec front end but it got destroyed in a fire when the bodyshop burnt down, the wheels have seen better days that the pics don't show but will do through the winter months, maybe get them refurbed or a new set for the summer.
  9. The 300zx z32 wasnt made till mid 1989 do you have the older model then, that might explain it.
  10. Would love a red 99 spec slick top with some nice wheels.
  11. Yep satin black i think it looks great, I had the choice of uk or jdm bumpers and think the uk looks more modern, the orginal turbo spoiler is really dated i do like the later series type but just love the clean lines of the naked zed so to speak. They're not bad, the drivers bolster needs a repair but i have spare leather, will be a few months down the line yet but will give you 1st shout.
  12. After being of the road for 3 years its back with new paint and an updated look, should come up even better with a polish and a wax. Just the interior to do now, replacing the cream seats with black leathers and a retrim in alcantara for the panels.
  13. US prices started at $27,900 presumably for NA and rose to $35,000 for a fully loaded turbo JDM was appx £12,500-£17,500 this was at launch in 1989
  14. I've just bought some uk front belts from Pete so to recap i just need 2 of these harness plates as in the link above are those the correct size 65mm x 65mm for the top securing bolt and the bottom 2 are already in a Jap spec? cheers in advance.
  15. is this as a 1st car or as a 2nd when i insured mine as a 2nd it was stupid cheap but as a 1st car cheapest i could get from them is £450 thats with 9 year NCB and 1 sp30 age over 30 just hehe
  16. pictures have been updated, looks a bargain, the 99 spec lights and bumper would set you back over £500 quid and the wheels are quite sort after.
  17. according to the very informative 300zx companion book, the entry level was £34,500, only options were leather and auto.
  18. i'm all for individuality and that but seriously someone did that and thought it looked good? Chrome weather strips my god!!!!:wack::wack:
  19. obviously a fan of the old 2cv plum and custard colour scheme :wack: change the interior and it wouldnt be to bad a car.
  20. some girl told me my car looks like Knightrider, I said its RED ffs:slap: I've had people in petrol stations ask if its a Ferrari, some guy once ran up to the front of it while i was at traffic lights to see what the badge on the nose was hehe, i should have blipped it :D
  21. if you stick your head under the front bumper towards the drivers side there is a black cylinder to do with aircon i think there are 2 connectors on this one is the ambient temp sensor
  22. replace the sensor, its just a little plug in box mounted to the front bumper beam. Mine was doing this i just unpluged it and cleaned it works fine now.
  23. if i stick mine on Auto set it to about 23-24 then i get warm air coming out the middle vents, There are lots of sensors for the air con and it will blow air according to those sensors, so if it thinks its warm in the cabin it won't blow air there. Won't you be running very rich if the ecu thinks its -86?
  24. the thing with these cars is that several failing/failed sensors can give similar symptoms, there are no crystal ball methods with this complex vehicle, yeah sure you go for the obvious solutions which is where the knowledge of this site comes in. But the next best thing to a crystal ball is to put it on a Consult .
  25. Turning it OFF will improve engine braking.
