  13. quote from 300zx companion "Roof, floor, bulkheads and side panels are welded automatically on single jig, but seam welding to add strength in key areas is carried out by hand"
  14. must be a turbo, looks like some unsuspecting driver peed themselves whilst driving
  15. i had 451s 265 35 18s on the rear they didnt last long but grip was very good for the price i paid 120 quid each i think, for the mileage i do there fine but as daily driver theyll be gone in no time
  16. as i used to work for pc world and now mastercare, just take an advert of a pc youve seen ie the aldi one and theyll do u a better spec for the same price, they dont advertise it cos that wouldnt be cost effective , but they dont like to lose out and will beat any deal u have seen or match it at least, btw u aint seen me
  17. happy b day too! its mine on monday so im out for a few gallons 2nite, ill have one for ya
  18. wolverine blues by entombed kin rocks big time,
  19. there all based on a formula taking into account Driven wheels, bhp, and weight so there only theoretical but gives a rough idea
  20. i have a 200sx s14a as a daily driver, its much more practical, it wasnt that quick from standard as the boost is limited in 1st n 2nd to 7 psi, its now got apexi induction and boost device and is well rapid, much more of a kick, your never even noticed the turbo coming in before, they were very well engined as a quiet smooth touring car, but they certainly can be unleashednext on list is full decat exhaust and uprated fuel pump and plugs, maybe raise the boost to 14psi, and there are a couple of 200sx's with vg lumps in them, not sure how well they go but cant imagine them being slow, standard weight is around 1250 kg, also youve probably heard of rich's white s13 that runs about 600bhp from the 1.8 engine now thats impressive
  21. im going this route too, any pitfalls i should be aware of, ie fitting of the perspex panel, are the holes under the spoiler there to take it?
  22. if it were me i would definately get the belts checked out, for what it costs to replace its just not worth the risk of totally killing your engine, ive had mine near the top of the scale but never off it , and i would be paranoid about doing any more damage.
