know how u feeling ive been in the same situation with a mk2 supra tho, on a brighter note, andyz or other forum members can sort u out with the bits relatively cheap, so u could possibly do a deal with the insurance co and get it back on the road in no time

when ever i need a part for mine i get my mate thats a spanner man and he takes me to the parts department, and im telling this parts guy to what i want and he;s amazed when i point out the part i need on the computer, normally if i go in and just ask they want the chasis number, i tell em its a j spec and there like oooh we cant get parts for them cant touch it, :rofl:

if your burning to dvd for films then u have to convert them to vob files, i use a program called spruce up, its free but limited but does the job, u can create simple menus etc, then i burn the vob files with pinacle instant dvd available from pc world too, this is a vgood site for help on everything you need to know dvd help

off topic i know, but looking at some of those engine pics, wtf were the designers taking at the time, i mean how much can they cram onto one engine, must have gave some one a real headache designing the beast, you can just imagine the head honchos at at nissan "right guys we have this engine bay thats a bout as big as a marlborough fag packet and we want to put a 3 litre v6 engine in there, oh and twin turbos, air con, hicas etc." you drop a nut in there and its like a black hole.

think u have to take the door trim off to get to the mirror mounting screws this might help trim removal
