usually if you bought them on line u have to send em back for testing, obviously they aint gonna work so you should get replacements. if you got them from high street shop same applies. i used to work in a computer shop and really theres no way of telling how a board dies unless it has obvious signs such as burnt out components etc, if its dead its dead we'd swap em.

dont buy the first one u test drive, i did but was lucky ive had nothing major wrong with it, trust me it will be very tempting cos they are totally mint cars that suck u in. a friend of mine bought one at first sight, turned out the rear seal had gone and was pissin oil all over, get a proper check over.

propshaft vibration seems to be crop up a lot with vibration, usually centre bearing wears out, oil pressure guages are notoriously inaccuate apparently, mines all over the place, so long as its changed regularly appx 3000 miles, with good oil should be ok, check for leaks smokey zorsts, stock non turb is appx 220 bhp stock turbo is 300 bhp uk 280 imports,
