mine is a j spec 89 tt auto too in a similar condition, no sh but lower mileage, with leather cd and 18's and paid 4k for it, the problem u find now is that theres so many cheap imports coming in people just see the low figure and go for it, the good examples get ignored, its a real shame cos these are top motors that cost a fortune when new, ive seen plenty g reg's on trader for as low as 3k true they might be ruff but people that buy them at that price tend to be boyracers that dont look after them, while theres boat loads of cheap imports being sent over the market wont rise till there rare enough to outway demand its a sad state i know but its a buyers market at the moment

trust me ive worked in a computer shop and u simply cant buy a game for a pc off the shelf and it work on any pc, theres an infinate combination of hardware software on the pc platform, and some games just wont work with certain setups. unless u have a bit of knowledge it can be very frustrating, fine in turning the detail down but it kinda like driving in 1st gear but as dom says its not really a fair comparison

i think i spoke to you at JAPS on sunday, try the autobox diag on this link autodiags this may show up any electrical faults but not mechanical ones. u say this happened after u had it delimited, check all the connections to make sure there good.

should be no prob laquered. just touch the bonent of a metalic black car in the baking sun, u can fry an egg em, maybe add more hardner to the laquer?

im 6 4 and its the best car ive fitted in, the steering wheels in a perfect position, the only prob u may have is your right leg tends to ache at the knee on long runs. but that could be cos im getting old :p

a couple here welcome to the board, but at the moment its all gone a bit crazy the last few days :D

at the end of the day it like anything else, if u take your time and have patience u can do anything your self. i my self repair laptops, some time u get one uve never worked on before, i see it as a challenge more than anything else. the zed is a more complex beast than your average run about, if u think about it from a design view, they had a hell of a job getting everything they wanted under that bonet, but they did it. i love the way everythign is just shaped right and so tight fitting, they utilised every single space available. but professionals or not, were all human, and humans make mistakes, the ones that stand out are the ones that realise there mistakes and take the time to put it right. u would not belive how easy it is to spend 2 hours stripping and rebuilding a laptop, only to find u forgot to connect the floppy cable, yeah it might take u 20 mins to strip it an re fit the cable. but least u know if u do its a job well done

can someone program me an eprom that does 30 mpg @ 14 psi :p
