i found that it was the little plunger on the door frame that turns the light out when u shut it wasnt being pushed in enough, i just took off the rubber cover and packed some crap init to pack it out, think i used some small pieces of card about 5mm square, trying pulling the door shut hard when your driving to see if it cures the clicking, if it does then this fix will work

i have an 89 jap auto and mine has the screw, might give it a try tomorow if the weather is dry.

out on the razz, cos its friday and a couple of girlmates coming too, last time i got razzed i looked like this scary shit

yeah the zed is pretty deadly once its moving, i have problems launching me auto, most cars with a bit of grunt nose ahead upto about 30ish then when the turbos kick in its wooosh and big grin as u pass them and there a small dot in your mirror, i must admit a mates 300 brake scooby was a good battle but i was in front of him past 50 :D

any body had any traffic light duels with one of these cars, me and a work mate in big discussion as hes buying one soon, he thinks hell waste me as he thinks the quoted 0-60 is 5.2 seconds where as i think they;re 6 according to sites ive looked at? cant beat a bit of playground banter :D

just out of interest are these uk or j spec zeds, mine went for mot last month and sailed thru, i couldnt beleive the conditoin of the under side it was like new, mines a j spec which i thought had less underside protection than uks, mines been in the uk since 90. maybe its had some after treatment but thumbs up to the japs for a top quality car. mot bloke was well impress for a 13 year old car.

must be a bugger to park with that bumper, whats the clearance like over speed bumps?

would these fit a j spec dash, mine has a mph stuck over the kmh, ie would it show 50 mph when doing 50.

my j spec tt auto is fully comp at 438 quid, tho i am over 25 and its limited to 3000 miles a year.

well i set off rather bleary eyed cos i was partying all night saturday, came off the a38 took a wrong turn ended up completely lost and didnt take me map cos i thought i would remember were i was going, so im driving round on empty looking for a gas station and in all these little villages there shut, so i eventually find one, amazing how far u can go on empty btw. and by this time id given up hope of finding it so went to macdonalds for some dinner, i did spot a dark grey skyline and some nice kitted honda jobbie on the drive back, its the most ive done in the zed about 50 odd miles all together and it never missed a beat, even in this soaring heat it ran fine, but dont u just hate that feeling of being in the middle of nowhere completely lost with no gas in the tank. So today ive learned a lot fill up when u pass that petrol station Take a map dont stay out all night drinking

no cruise here either, j spec auto, pressing cruise button doesnt light any thing up, should u get a test light when u first switch on

i used to work in pc world and see this all the time, but cant for the life of me think of the solution, i belieive its some kinda windows problem, try reinstalling the latest drivers and resetting all the explorer settings to default,

u can get a usb network gadget but it only runs at 12mbits and cost about 40 quid, 2 network cards and a crossover cable will set u back no more than 30 quid and runs upto 100mbits

and another 10k to buy the bollocks to drive it flippin mental :D

i used some autoglym dash and rubber care stuff last weekend, used it on all the external rubbers that were a horrible faded grey colour and to may amazement theve stayed black, made the leather seats all supple too.

well lmfao, did a bit of tinkering today, and i was leaning on the fan shrowd and the noise stopped, it really did sound like a metalic rattle tho, i turned a screw in the fan shrowd fastening along top slam panel half a turn and its cured that horrible rattle, sounded really expensive to fix too. the simplest of things are often over looked i guess
