wow thats amazing, the wide arch kit isnt to my taste personally but the effect and fitting of the kit and overall appearance seems almost like it rolled out of the nissan showroom like that. just out of intrest is it the stock nissan red, i beleive there are several shades of stock nissan red, if not what colour/effect is it.

sod that, buy the shed with neon strips next to the red zed. :D back to the question tho, it has to be TT, ive had mine 6 months or so and im already in need of speed increase, with a TT theres much more mods available than a N/A, and its sooooo much fun to drive, u can happily plod around or give it some whooosh, the auto is good box with overdrive and power mode :D , the manual? well ive never driven one but me personally think it would be hard going if u do a lot of town driving like my self. but the choice is yours, and i would go for the blue auto if i had to choose from the two pictured.

reason why i think they're cheap is because people are afraid of them, nearly every one ive taken out in mine said they love it and want one, BUT they're scared of the running costs of a 12 year old car. also things have a value depending on what people are prepared to pay, it doesnt necessary mean its worth it. collectables such as swatch watches and pottery fetch silly money, purely because theres a demand. at the moment theres obviously no demand for 300zx's, u could pick up the phone and order a nice j import at the drop of a hat. when the demand outways the supply, thats when the price will go up. look at RS turbos s1, i sold mine for 3k 2 years ago and it was a banger. but the demand i had for it was amazing because they are so rare.

derby would be good, do we all go to maccy d's and wear baseball caps on backwards and see who has the loudest speakers and get our arses out for the camera? :p

wwwooooooohooooooooooooo indeedy it only took me one test drive to convince me, they really are "super" cars i used to rather cautious with money, but if the zed needs it, its gotta have it, first time u drive it down a high street with the roof off, all detailed up n shiny will be a very strange experience the amount of looks u get, felt like the whole world was watching me. get some piccies posted !

drive a jap import and turn the power button on and over drive off, im sure you will have a rather large grin and a rather tight ring :D

i have a j spec auto pretty much stock cept for stainless zorst, and it all depends how u drive, its a very well behaved car under normal conditions and u can give it plenty of stick in the dry, just dont ever floor it in the wet or u will be facing the wrong way. auto change is very smooth in deed in my opinion, with over drive off theres plenty of engine breaking available, it can feel strange with it on, feels like your free weeling with the clutch in, with the power button on and overdrive off from a standing start it is very quick indeed, and just keeps going and going, mid range say from 60 and a quick stab of the loud pedal the kick down is imediate and the boost kicks in and its just one big adrenalin rush.

i think i hear what your trying to get across, in mine when i just accelerate normally with no boost it feels very torquey, pulls much better than my na supra i used to have.

a similar crash i know of 10 years ago involving a metro and a lotus sunbeam hit head on, driver in metro died, driver of sunbeam serious facial injuries broken leg, 2 passengers in sunbeam both suffered facial injuries, now these are 2 similar sized cars but the metro driver died, all were wearing seatbelts except rear passenger in sunbeam.

the gaffer at work has a TT soft top and this guy comes in to the shop and says who is it that car in the car park and the gaffer says what the silver one (his tt) and the guy says no the red one what is it? i just gave the gaffer a smug grin and walked off.

just recently whenever i go over a bump, and in the zed a 5 pound note feels like a bump, the open door warning light flashes in time to the bump, sounds like a loose connector as it sounds like i can hear a solenoid click, or it could just be another rattle coinciding with the bump were would i find the sensor to check it out. thanks in advance rob

good choice of car no doubt about it, but a blind date with a zed, hmm im not so sure, just think of all the holiday brochure pics and what its like when u get there, again not meaning to be negative, but a 4k zed can turn into a 7k zed overnight, i my self have just spent 500 on tyres, gonna need a cambelt and some other engine work 300+, new front bumper 340 plus paint, maybe rear shocks needed, no previous history, so thats a grand up on the 4k i already paid, and my import was bought in the uk but as the l'oreal advert says, its worth it
