Don't know, but do you have the evidence?

ie music vid clip and images of the magazine covers/articles? or even the text of the articles?

Well Tooley's Z was in the N-Trance video "Forever" so you should be able to download that from somewhere if you do a search...

Well I guess Tooleys got to be at the top of the famous Z list on here anyway.

LOL - I like this idea Stu, this would make a great archive ...

I can think of one or two more to add ...

Warren's/Alex's Z making a firstly inappropriate but now appropriate appearance in Japanese performance mag's letter section about tuning at SE, and in a previous article about it's re-build at Progress (I think).

Also my last Z, Stuart's, Paul's, Dazuti's, Jan & Fiona's (both) and John's in an earlier Z-club magazine article about our meet in Kent (wonder who wrote that ;))

Keep 'em coming .. I love all this stuff, sad muppet that I am! :)

ive made a few issues of fast car and max power and old z club mags on a few websites streetracing.com cruisinuk.co.uk and im reliably informed some of my better antics are being passed around on kazza. wazza has a nice vid of a meet we went to where i got my hands slapped for getting giddy at the car park........

I posted the video up ages ago.

Of Tooleys car that is

Wasn't GIOs car featured in EVO, as an affordable Supercar up against a MkIII or IV Supra if I remember correctly?

Tim

Let's not forget Mike 'Kirbz" - his Z was on "Top Gear"

certainly was - Nov 2002 issue, RX-7, MkIII Supra, 300ZX. "..a serious lot of fun for the money."

"[compared to the Supra] The Nissan is its suave, cool cousin - the car it would like to be, with even more power, huge poise and grip and fabulous handling up to and beyond the limit."

Clearly not all car journos are mouthy gits!

hang on a sec you missed pete shrimp his car was in canal worlds fastest barges feature:rofl:   :D

I think Kirbz just nicked it over tooley for appearing on Top gear.

Let me know if you disagree with any of the rankings (you can't disagree with your own car rank though :slap: )

i disagree with my rank - what *****x was wazza telling to get the car into the mag in the first place??

Regards,

Alex

Well You can be certain it was *****x becuase as you well know Wazza talks a lot of that.

But at the end of the day is was sill in the mag, do you want me to take it off.

Japanese performance magazine (the) did a 4 page spread on the rolling road session we had in Kings Langley on 24th November 2001 organised by Warren.

12 Zeds were pictured and summerised including mine so my zed has made two mags to date ;)

Attached some pics.

Funny thing was seeing Craig and Warren's mug shots being swapped incorrectly.

There was that Z on some Max Power vid when they had the cars on the air strip. Its was Jools' car or something. Or a person called Jools on here. I remember because his 0-60 times where crap.

That car is now round my way. Only see it about once a year.

Also Steve E's motor had a good write up in Jap performance a couple of years ago. Got the scans ask if you want to see em ;)

Steve E's old black 300 was featured in Top Gear magazine in June '99 ;)

Anyone got a clip of Kirbz on Top Gear?

What was the article about? and which car was it, the current yellow peril?

I'm pretty sure Warren had his own feauture in Jap Performance too ... it's all about how his (Sorry Alex, your car) car blew up in Rome etc, etc ...

If you'd like to research this particular installmnet of b*****x, I can dig it out and scan it for you - I've got all the back issues of Jap Performance with 300zx articles in them ... yes, I know, I need to get out more!! ;)

FWIW I was also told some b*****x about uncles and their ability to make brake discs lmao!

BTW, Stu can I be number 1 of another poll of most "infamous" zeds? Owning, as I do, one that's been owned by 5 forum members so far  - in fact as Macca put it "changed hands more times that an old tenner" :)

CheerZ,

JB.

That's right JB - May 2002 issue, pages 64-68. I need to get out more too..

Classic Quote: "It seems as though Warren may never fully recover from the psychological trauma that he suffered on that fateful day in 90 octane Rome..."

I would scan it in but no scanner available at the moment :(

All these claims of fame, but not yet a single link! (oh except for those above!) c'mon guys. If you're going to tell us what you're famous for, at least show us a pickie!
