  1. Need to tee the feeds to the actuators to the NO valve, the pipes that come off the back of the intercoolers need to be tee'd up to the common IIRC. HTH

  5. just went to look on 300zx.org.uk and its gone defunc????
  6. It's a cheap way of improving acceleration, both methods basically change the gearing making each gear seem like its shorter but unless you have your suspension set up correctly for your alloy size and good tyres - you could make the back end squirm with 150bhp tbh. You can still install traction control, which is a good idea as the race logic from what i read is not the same as production in it's restriction and provides power deliverly the normal joe wouldn't be able to do by feathering the throttle. HTH
  7. The higher the number (ratio) the leaner your becoming, from uni studies (chemistry) 14.7 is the stochemetric (bad spelling) or steady state for perfect combustion. The ratio should drop as you acclerate!! p.s. Nice to see people do their own work, looks good!! Cheers, Ste
  8. Well I've been thinking about it for two years i thought i'd best get on with it!! It's nice to see people doing a proper job!! Thanks for the link! I'm looking to get some 1995+ head, lower intake and fuel rail, i'm hoping this will work as a better match so i don't have to use a 360 rail. It's probably going to be more expensive though. Thanks again, Ste
  9. Hey, I'm looking to rebuild a VG and need to find a reputiable engineers shop to do some precise boring/honing, anyone have any recommendations?? Also anyone with facilities to check block condition, things like cylinder condition and thickness - as i don't want to go to the trobule of build a duff motor! Cheers, Ste

  14. Lol, i've had a couple of days off and managed to get the box and prep out of a spare car - all ready to lift out! just waiting for a mate for a hand at the weekend. 18. Hi, I'm keen to learn the practical side of building engines, i have good basic skills. Helped my dad build a number of engines, just not one by myself: I've got two questions: - Is the VG30DETT too complicated engine to do my first solo? - What was your first engine build, what would be a good cheap engine to rebuild before attempting the ZX? Regards, Ste
