hks single exit
Mine isnt too loud, I have linked the 2 pipes after the cats with 2 sections of 3 inch pipes, going into 4 inch pipes to the silencer, it being 6 inch in diameter and being 3 inches straight through. But I think it makes a difference if you remove or gut the cats, making it a lot louder. Sounds awsome when kicked but not like too loud like a Nova or Corsa driven by ned-boy. HTH John Crisp

in need of exhaust gasket
If thats the gaskets between the cats that you would join your exhaust onto, the Nissan part number is 20692-1E810, my local Nissan rip off merchant (main dealer) got them for me overnight. As for the bolts the same source. HTH Cheers John Crisp

Subscription
Can someone tell me when my subscription is due as I see my status has changed, and being honest I am not sure when I last paid up, also would it not be logical, if my subscription is due, to have a reminder so as to keep my status as it should be. Cheers John Crisp

Clutch problems
Mark pump the fluid from the slave cylinder up to the reservoir leaving the cap off and have someone watch for the bubbles stopping. Then stop the pump and close the bleed screw at the slave, and see if you have any pedal. HTH Cheers John Crisp

Clutch problems
FFS Usually the bubbles will stop when its bled up but if you havent got a good pedal after that, leave off the cap and after pressing the clutch about 10 or 15 times, slowly open the bleed screw, wit hgravity any air in the slave with dribble out . Sorry am forgetful tonight as this should be on 1 post. Cheers John Crisp

Clutch problems
I used a 12 volt washer pump to bleed clutches and brakes, open the reservoir cap and have someone watch the level, then open the bleed screw and connect up the pump to the batteries, havent had any problems using that method. Pump req to be bled 1st though as in hold reservoir for pump above it then power it up till fluid is being pumped, then connect to bleed screw in slave cyl. HTH Cheers John Crisp

removing rear spoiler
Mine was screwed and bonded with psychoflex (sicaflex or however its spelt), I wanted to fit a perspex panel to go with my Wings West mid height spoiler but as I had a nightmare of a job getting the psychoflex off i made a few bumps/dents on my tailgate, so in the end I got a copy made of my origional spoiler and cut it and as its now bonded on the tailgate all i have to do now is merge it. Cheers HTH John Crisp

anyone know about audi TT's?
As with new commercial wiring systems sometimes faults occur when things dont power up properly like when starting and with a flat battery, I have seen all sorts of faults occur in the error memory, but actually they have been generated by improper powering up of the ECU's, have u tried disconnecting the good battery for a few minutes, then re-connect it. I used to get grief like that with multiplex wiring systems even although a 24 volt system, most modern cars have multiplex, maybee i am waffling but worth a try. Cheers John Crisp

HKS pics wanted
I have a mongrol single exit made from 2 sections of 3 inch stainless from the cats merging to 4 inch to the silencer, 2.5 inches straight through the silencer onto a 5 inch outward rolled tailpipe...to sounds awsome when kicked but not too loud (like a deep kinda roar). There are a few pics on my rides under john300zx if they are of any use. The 4 inch pipework is actually Eminox Volvo FL6 sections i inherited from my old work and the silencer was made up for about 120 quid cash from a guy who makes stainless systems for all cars...so all in all it cost me under 200 quid as my mate took a bottle of vodka and a bottle of whisky...the rest welded with stainless mig wire at my previous employer.....taking 8 hours to make and fit......was a nightmare but me thinks well worth it. If it helps i can prob take some close up pics tomorrow, give me a shout. Cheers John Crisp
