  1. Anyone maybee got a double Tamiya or similar 300 kit for sale as I used to be a keen modeler in the past but the local model shops here cant get the 300 Tamiya kit. Cheers John Crisp PS there is a shortage of haggis's running wild in Scotland now.....wonder why
  2. http://www.easynews.com 5 quid a month for 6 gig music/films (I aint used it for the films but as for the music I have more than had my money's worth in the 4 years I have used it) through your credit card, also 3 of my mates use it and my bruv in law without any grief related to credit card details and so far virus free, not like some other sites. HTH Cheers John Crisp
  3. Thanks for all the replies guys.....downloaded updated drivers and messed about with settings and it works ok now..... Cheers John Crisp

  5. Yeah Scoops its on the PC......its the usual for me though as my bruv in law built the pc for me with a decent graphics card for games....but i am not sure what card it is. Cheers John Crisp
  6. Merry Christmas everyone, I have a copy of the above mentioned game but cant get the graphics settings right.....when it starts the scenery etc is ok....but the guys exercising are all red....anyone else had this. I have played all previous MOH titles/Call Of Duty/ Need For Speed Underground all without any problems. Any help much appreciated... Cheers John Crisp
  7. Wez It wasnt too bad to fit, just getting the old track off and i was lucky i had access to a press to fit the hub into the bearing and also my rear discs were not too worn so i got the disc off without too much grief. Get yourself a manual on CD form for torque's etc...well worth it...i got mine from Luke at the Z Centre. HTH John Crisp
  8. Stuart I dont want to dampen anything with regards unions as I am a member of Amicus-AEEU, but within the last year my work has sacked 1 guy and forced 1 guy to resign all because the Fat Controller doesnt like them...nothing else. They both had union backing but my mate Chas who was sacked ended up going to a Independant Employment lawyer and he's now in legal proceedings against my work, he was advised to go to ACAS to get a settlement by the union lawyer.....his employment lawyer said no because he has a better case to go to court against my work as he has a good case.. The 2nd instance I know about is related to changing contracts again the guys at a local Bus Works went against union advice, basically what happened was the guys who have worked for the Bus Company were to be sub contracted to my work under the same conditions they had.....flat rate pay no overtime rates and not even the rate i get for the same job title....again the union tried to get them to accept.....they all chipped in 30 quid i think it was to get an Independant Employment Lawyer for advice.....now that deal is scrubbed as the guys were advised to sign nothing and reject the deal... I dont mean to bad mouth unions etc but it might be worth getting independant advice as I was saying.... Enough warbling from me...time for a beer.. Cheers John Crisp
  9. OOPS forgot to say its not just a bearing that is supplied, the bearing carrier comes with the kit also, all thats needed is the hub removed, the old bearing track chiseled off the hub, then the hub pressed into the new bearing/carrier, probably thats why the bearing is so expensive. Cheers John Crisp
  10. Wez I got a back bearing for 80 quid last year from a motor factor, made by HSK i think, cant say about price for fitting as i fitted it myself. HTH John Crisp
  11. Red Witch for me....pint of cider with a pernod and blackcurrent.....3 pints max for me and i was buckled...but i was only 18 and i aint ever touched that again Cheers John Crisp
  12. If your not fast your last...haha.. Cheers John Crisp
  13. I recently fitted a PTU S2 to my 1993 TT but had to fit adapter harness's supplied with the new S2 PTU as the plugs on S1 and S2 PTU's are different. HTH Cheers John Crisp
  14. I have 24 hour emergency gas cover here.....took them 2 days to come when my central heating packed in...quality quick service...not. Cheers John Crisp
  15. Spending 5 or 6 k on a car doesnt always guarantee a good car....buying a car is like a lottery...with a zed even more so....I am just lucky I can work on my own car as i'd hate to have bought a car then have to rely on Nissan or some other rip off merchants repairing/botching up. Even a service history I dont think is a real guarantee, the technicians in most dealerships have prob missed out an oil change/filter change, cleaned the filter on the outside to make it look new, then kept the filter for a home job while stamping your service book...aha another satisfied customer.....not. I am not implying all technicians do this...but working in a main dealer is a real eye opener. Enough warbling from me.....John Crisp
  16. My 300 had exactly same symptoms.....got a new PTU from Coutesy Nissan USA Cheers John Crisp

  18. They were better than Julian Clarey and his partner....he was like feckin bod.....man I hate Julian Clarey.... What about whats her name from Eastenders......her partners gonna get black eyes if he isnt careful...not that I was watching it closely.... Cheers John Crisp

  20. I guess Aldi is the same, I was just bored last night and did a search in the 'spotted' section key word 'Tesco' ffs and low and behold there were quite a few 'Tesco Zedders'. Alan why hasnt someone spotted you in Tesco's then  bet u park along the street a bit.............. Cheers John Crisp
  21. Is there a Club discount with Tesco as quite a few of the Zeds spotted over the country are either close to, have just left, have been to TESCO'S ffs...... Am I right or wrong here  Cheers John Crisp

  24. LOL to the stories, and I thought thick apprentices were only in my place of work....makes ya wonder what keeps them going when they get the piss taken out of them all day....I get the impression their heads would go down easily...until they strike back at the journey men....not today did we have an older mechanic trying to kid on set about our local 'thick tongue' apprentice.......only for Big Rab as he's known to end up making a horses dick of himself....the apprentice did a karate move and the big man ended up on the deck in a head lock....us 'old heads' have gotta watch out...the young team might be plotting a massive country wide 'payback' via apprentices text messagine each other all over the country...plotting our downfall......watch this space..... Cheers John Crisp
