Are computer games getting easier?
I just bought FIA GTR for the PC as i've mainly played PS2/X-Box. I think the games are getting harder as comparing PS2/PC for example with Medal Of Honour they are like chalk and cheese on the different formats. FIA GTR is ok on diddy level as all the brake/acceleration enhancers are on...on hard its almost impossible at this early stage. Deffo think games are getting harder but as I missed out on most of the older stuff as I was a late starter. Cheers John Crisp

Crazy car - Help PLEASE!
Is it not best to read error codes when the car faults rather than leave it till the morning or day after or even so checking error codes after the battery has been disconnected, better to check for error codes right away as car faults with ignition still on, dont switch it off, see what codes are recorded. Maybee i am wrong but thats what i would do. Cheers John Crisp

NZR transfer pics from phone to pc
Yampie I cant say if there is an infra red port on the laptop but my phone wont pic up any signals from other devices so it wont send....making me think the laptop isnt infra red compatible. Kim if it was a works phone I would e-mail them to. Cheers John Crisp

NZR transfer pics from phone to pc
I have a Siemens SL65 phone that has IrDA (INFRA RED) compatability, as for the laptop it isnt latest spec (Compaq NX9005) so am I right in saying for the laptop I need a bluetooth running through a USB port to allow the pics to transfer. All this technology is flying about 25k feet above my head just now. Cheers for the replies guys..........John Crisp

NZR transfer pics from phone to pc
Is it possible to transfer pics on my camera phone to a laptop via Infra Red, if so does the laptop require special software or hardware for this to work. Cheers John Crisp

Rear lights not working
Try removing the bulbs, fit a new fuse, put the lights on and add the bulbs one by one. At least you might be able to narrow the fault down that way if there isnt anything obvious. HTH John Crisp

Scottish
An ex workmate of mine does MOT'S at his friends garages, they do all kinds of cars and with both of them being ex-300 twin turbo owners and I know they have done the likes of timing belts on Scoobies and GT4's they know their way around most kind of exotics. The garage is in Darvel in Ayrshire, if it helps I can get the number. Cheers John Crisp

NZR Range Rover 4.2 V8 Non Start
My neighbour has a Range Rover like above with a gas conversion that wont start, he has had an electrician messing about with it but still no joy. Anyone got any links for help/owners clubs/workshop manuals available online or anyone with similar grief/remedy. A new ignition module has been fitted and the usual plugs etc. Cheers John Crisp

Consult anyone?
I think Conzult is under 300 quid from Danny (DTA)in the Traders Section .....running it from a laptop. Sounds like your best bet Fraser. Cheers John Crisp
-
Consult anyone?
Oki Doki Fraser, I guess from that Conzult is the answer as all that flew right over my head...I do all my own work on my Zed as I am an HGV/PSV Mechanic...cars (300zx's more like) are a nightmare compared to the stuff I work on, but from my experience I have seen many people jump in with both feet rather than checking the basics as I posted previously (not saying you aint done this already). Has your car been emission tested recently, anything show up in that respect?? Cheers John Crisp

Meet
Anyone up for a more local meet, with there being a good few Zeds local to Paisley/Barrhead/Glasgow area for a natter/MacDonalds etc. I would love to go for a meet Nationally like was previously organised by Scott but I cant committ time due to family /work committments but surely something can be organised locally (Carnegies Car Park to noise up the Paisley Corsa Neds haha jk). Anyone else up for this or anyone got any ideas of a place/occasion for a meet. Cheers John Crisp
