im going to hold on to mine for a long time and i hope that it should be worth something. its a black swb tt manual my lwb auto is slowly being broken though

they should look fantastic i will be running 17s on my swb too. i think they are about right and should be a bit lighter than an 18

its the tube that runs throught the bush that is concentric so you can turn that i was not aware of this kit but looks quite good, on the other hand i thought the oe arms used roller bearings of some sort and it would be strange to try to replace them with poly bushes

The noise is the AIV valves and is normal. best solution is to bin them

car will look fantastic mate. sounds like we will have quite similar cars, mine too is a black swb currently being resprayed with a smoothed antenna hole,wiper etc 99 spec front and a super megaphone exhaust. factory fit recaros in mine though and no viper wings (because i could not stand the abuse from si). am i still ok to pick up that wing next weekend

wow. thats some rust. its amazing what a bodykit can cover up. i guess tt subframes and diffs are worth nothing these days. shame as ive got two spares.

you could get away with running more boost on std injectors but at 1 bar you have them at their max recomended duty cycle (about 80% i think) push beyond this on a cold morning and you may end up with a melted piston. with the tubs you have i would not go above 10psi on std injectors

the s14 calipers are cast iron but share the same dims as the z32 rear brakes on the s14 are single piston floating calipers with built in handbrake these are the same as early impreza. if you want to convert an s14 to z32 rear brakes you need an n/a setup as the bearings are different. i think z32 rear calipers will bolt up to an s13 as they are the same but aluminium also out of interest for anyone you can bolt up the entire alloy upright from a z32 on to an s13 or 14 for a good weight reduction but you have to use rear shocks with a z32 fitting

well the rears will be sticking out approx 50mm from what would be concidered flush. an extream arch roll and very streched tyres might get them on but the look may not be quite what you are after, although some will love it. sounds about right for a wide arch kit though

any further thoughts on this si you usually have some interesting ideas on styling?
