  1. Hay guys. M mate is having a few issues with his landlord. Basically his front door has been getting harder to close and now the key is stuck in the door. The landlord says its my mates problem and that he must get it fixed. Obviously my mate doesnot want to do this. Is there any way to for ce the landlord to do this or at least a little payback if he cant. Im a landlord myself and unless there was clear abuse i would fix the issue. I know some tennants are awfull but my mate and his mrs are good people trying to save to buy their first house. Let me know your thoughts
  2. most autofactors wont do them now as it is too much risk for a garage to rebuild a caliper, they will just stick a recon one on

  7. we got our two cats from the cats protection place and i have never meet a friendlyer cat. love them to bits and i could never understand how someone could treat their pet so badly. good effort in looking after them, perhapse they could be like an office mascot
  8. no torsion bar on the back mate, std coil springs to lower the car you should just need the front and rear camber arms. changing the arbs should not effect geometry so you could get it setup before
  9. i know exactly how you feel, me and the mrs went shopping this weekend and put the car in a multistory. came back to find someone has taken out all the drivers side. my only consilation is that it was only our runabout a3, it was still a tidy car though. going to see if there was any cctv of it and get the bugger to pay out
  10. as si said the base coat should be from the gun. if you are using 2k laquer then the finish should be good without wet sanding. 1st coat should go down thin then the final two coats can go on wet. i would only do 3 coats of clear unless you intend to flat it back alot, i would also add some flex addative into it. without the addative and with too many coats you will end up with cracks when the bumper expands. im by no means an expert but i have been doing lots of research as im spraying my zed in the next few weeks also just as a bit of advise make sure you correct any problems at the level where they occur, you cant fix a problem in the base coat once the clear is on.
  11. cam belt covers look very nice, i was going to paint mine gloss black but i might have just changed my mind

  13. not too bad but you would need a new compressor, should be able to get one off a breaker (i have a spare if you need) but they are mega heavy and would be a pain to post
  14. i would imagine you have a seised compressor. when the magnetic clutch engages the engine tries to turn it but cant so the belt squeals and the engine stalls Simples
  15. i have 2 lock sets- one of which i will need for my car 1 set has a titanium key and the other has not but does have an original black nissan key. i also have a blank black and a blank red valey key. i would prefere to keep the titanium set but could be persuaded to sell as i have to fund my rebuild Pete
