im doing a bare metal respray on my car, i would imagine i will spend at least 200 hours on it and even at £20 an hour its going to cost. if you need any panels i will be cutting up my breaker and it has almost perfect rear arches.

i adapted one from a 200sx, needs a little filing but works great

have you made sure the cooling system is bled correctly

you can sand stone chip by the way. spray it quite thin (more thinners) and just sand it down after. will not be as good as a fully preped panel but would be better than std

chin up mate i am still hoping to get to jae if it makes you feel any better i need to finnish off most of the panels. paint the whole car inc engine bay. finish assembly of my engine finish retrim inc seats and head lining finish front suspension rebuild sort out all exterior trim. fit everything back on car and i mean everything now im quite sure my zed wont make it to jae but i will and one of the things that i was looking forward to was seeing your car. you can do it

i have a set of arms with poly bushes already installed yours for £30 plust the postage (should be about £5) if you want for another £10 i can shot blast them and paint them so they are all shiny and new looking.

i used some thin strong wire (guitar string) like a cheese wire to get mine off

i have those wheels, enkei rpo1's mine are silver with a ploished lip though. Perfect wheels for a zed imo, just not in white

wish id decided to go for solid black now instead of a slight metallic. at least with a black the mettallic is not so obvious

i think people have fitted t28s on stock manifolds, they use a 4 bolt flange but i know that on an s13 which uses t25s like the z32, you have to use an adaptor plate. i do have a t28 in the garage and my engine is out but the manifolds are packed away. an even cheaper option would be the t28 off an s14 which is still good for 280+ and can be had for around 100 each

s15 turbos are a gt28r they should be goos for 300bhp each the gtir turbo would be good for around 320 both would require a 5 bolt flange and are quite big good turbos though expect to pay around £300 per turbo

i did this on my 200sx if you go on the sxoc and search for project 400sx you will see it

you could try a pair of 350 z discs i think db power do a kit

im sure it is over fueling if you have fitted bigger injectors without the correct map then it will overfuel. either that or a loose fuel hose or a leak on the low presure side ie between the maf and the turbo

i have a rack off my breaker, £40 posted in good working order

boost leak for sure. the noise is air escaping and the over fueling is due to the maf putting in fuel for air that is not going into the engine. now go outside and tighten up the rest of the pipes

purple are nismo 555s as far as i know but then again my s14 had purple ones but i belive these are of the later design

like si said as the engine is under no load it is not producing enough exhaust gas to turn the turbo fast enough to create boost.
