New wheels
They are the silver ones with diamond cut lip, they will need a bit of a refurb at some point but that can wait. The front tyres need replacing so I have a choice- si any reason you would go for a 245? I don't want to be suffering tram lining. As for price, they were around 1k which is quite a bit for a used set of wheels that could do with a refurb, on the other hand I have been wanting a set of these for the last 10 years and new they were a stupid amount. They came from the UK, Hong kong is not that great for car bits unless you count the eBay stuff. There are 3 sets on eBay all well over 1k and all 17s so I think I had a good deal, I'm considering them an investment. Hopefully being 19's they won't look too big for my shorty Thanks for the advice guys, pics fitted to come in early May. I'll pop some other pics up in the mean time

New wheels
Just secured a set of nismo lmgt4s They are 19 x 8.5 et25 front 19 x 9.5 et30 rear I'll be running a 275 on the rear and probably a 235 front I think I might want a 5mm spacer front and rear to get perfectly flush. My thoughts on that are that its impossible to run a hub centric that thin, does the wheel still engage on the spigot when mounted 5mm out? Standard arches at the moment but I can give the rear a tweak if needed.

Order from Wiring Specialties
I've had mine on order for the last month and a half My situation is a little tricky as I am having it sent to me in Hong kong and I'm traveling back to the UK to install it in early May. They have been communicating with me, the rhd loom was on back order and mine has now been despatched and I hope to get it in the next few days, hopefully yours will be sent out to. I'm hoping the quality is worth the wait

So Many Great Members Gone
Life changes for a lot of people. I'm stuck on the other side of the world to my 300 so have little interesting to add. In positive news I'm back in the uk for a while in May and there will be lots of updates. Out of interest is Stella still about?

Ecu question
Hi all Quick question, I will be back in the UK next month and I'm looking to get the 300 running. My car is a TT manual car which I bought as a shell so all of the wiring is for a manual, my engine is from my old TT auto and the box ( and sub harness) is a manual. I have a brand new wiring specialists loom for a tt manual. My question is the only ecu I have is from my old auto ( which was flashed by zed world), setting the base timing in an auto and manual is different as far as I remember ( due to the nutral switch). So do I now treat it as a manual or an auto or do I get a manual ecu. Once running I will be getting a proper map as I'm sure the tune is well off? Also as a general base line will I run out of injectors or turbo first, I'm happy to run the auto tubs for the moment as I am looking for less than 400 fwhp and quick response. Upgraded inter coolers and maybe larger pipe work will be on the cards at some point

Removed the wing today...
I had the same issue with my first z It wasn't untill I removed the engine for a clean up that I discovered the bent chassis rail.

JaiKai - Full rebuild & Respray
The car is looking great With the plenum I would smooth it out then get it powder coated in a lightish silver/ aluminium. I personally like how this car has reverted back to a more stock look, particularly the couloir which is not too far from midnight purple. A silver plenum would be nice and subtle but still show the attention to detail. Mine will go crackle black but I have a white bay.

Nice wheels
Hi all Before I spend money refurbishing my rims and putting tyres on them I thought I'd ask if anyone has any wheels for sale They must have good tyres They must be 18's They must be staggered (9.5 or 10 rear) They must be tasteful I'd love a set of te37's or nismo lmgt4 but Id consider something a little cheaper for the moment Let me know what you have

Tyres
Has anyone got any good recommendations on tyres I'm looking for a 275/35/18 rear and 235/40/18 on the front Can anyone recommend anything, the car will only be very occasionally used ( I don't live in the uk at the moment) and will not be out in the winter. I seem to remember falkens being popular.

New winscreen
Nice one si Mine are bronze ( black car originally) I would have changed to a blue (all glass) but it's a shortie so not much chance of a good set coming up. I've got a few months, hopefully that's will be enough. That price is much better than I was expecting Thanks

Rear calliper hose brackets
As above, does anyone have a set that aren't too rusty?

New winscreen
Hey all As far as I understand, new screens are available in the uk. I'm back in the uk for a bit in May and I'm intending to get the zed on the road. One of the main issues is that I need a new screen Has anyone had one fitted recently, how was the cost , are they the right colour (it's an import swb 1992) was the service good?

update on my swb restoration
Hey all, I've been back on the site quite a bit recently, it seems a little quieter than it used to be. Good to see there are still some familiar faces around though. There are some cool projects- especially nice to see another vh beast around I'm back in the Uk early May for a few weeks and I'm putting aside a good bit of time to hopefully get the zed up and running eventually. So far as far as I can remember the jobs are: Fit cam belt- full kit going on order Fit new engine harness. - going to order an engine specialist one from the U.S., has anyone tried one? Fit upper plenum, injectors, water bypass etc- new hoses going on order Set up fuel lines- I have some AN fittings to go on Clean injectors and fit new seals Fit new battery- mounting behind pas anger seat Remove the front bumper and finish wiring I left in a hurry, then refit properly. Fit fuel filler neck- and new mocol filler Put in fuel Shout at car until it decides to run Fix the enviable leaks ets Oh- put in some oil and a filter and some water! After that I have to fit up the rear caliber, add fluid and bleed them Rebuild clutch master and slave, fit new braded line and then fill Free off shifter linkage- the short shifter is one of the only bits I skimped out on, maybe I shouldn't have! Then I need to lift it up and check that every single bolt is done up and the wheels are pointing in roughly the right direction. Fit new front wheel bearing Set up ride height Fit some spacers so it sits rights and clears the calliper so. Get a new screen fitted Fit the rest of the exterior trim- window bottoms and windscreen I guess after that lot it will be just about ready to run and maybe even MOT Sorry for the epic list, it's usefull to see it all and visualise what I need to do. So does anyone think I'll get it done in a week? Oh and I've tried to find out if the twins group buy is still on, I've left a message on the thread but no updates recently

update on my swb restoration
Hey guys Just thought id drop a quick hello. Been out of the country for nearly a year now, missing my zed. Will be back in the uk for a few weeks next year so going to try to start stock piling some parts to finish her off. Are the twinz rear bumpers easy to get hold of yet? Started doing a few business trips to Tokyo recently so might be able to get some cool stuff over there to. Any interesting projects been on the go recently?
