  1. Also, hold will stop it shifting down a gear or two when you want to overtake fast, but not rev the nuts off it, it lets the turbos push without the revs....
  2. Some people say converting the speedo makes the Hicas work funny, and at the wrong speeds. I have UK clocks, so I dont know for sure.
  3. Third gear clutch is weak on these, possibly shot clutch...
  4. yes, good, no hard feelings here either.
  5. James said I could reply and ask who started with the "DICK" part, but I wont...Ooopps. I just did. Sorry Guys.
  6. Hi James, thanks for calling me a DICK, very nice. Now I know you are one of those nice people who just cant stand it when they realise they said something stupid, and have to lash out. Shame Actually I was speaking generally with regard to the jacket, but you seem to take it personally. This of course is your right. I suppose if the shoe fits? Anyway, I dont want this to turn into a slagging match, chill out, and have a nice day.
  7. Hey James300, lets get sensible here, if you cant deal with hot fluids you should wear one of those special jackets where your arms are tied round your back. Get Real. I am sure the guy does not need to have his hand held when dealing with hot oil. And what I said was true with regard to boiling the kettle, after all he might pour the hot water over his hand when he pours it into the mug.
  8. True, be careful next time you make a cup of tea then. And I assume you subscribe to the Labour Governments ideas then, that we should be protected from ourselves at all times, like when running a bath? If you cant be carefull, maybe you should not be let out alone, let alone underneath a car. On a more serious note, you do get more dirty oil out this way, which is the point of changing it.
  9. Run the engine until its warm and more of the old oil will run out sooner. And oiling the new seal also helps when you come to take it off come next oil change, (as well as the reasons all ready posted) If your sump plug leaks afterwards, undo it a bit and then run some PTFE plubmers tape around the thread, not as good as a new washer but it works.
  10. First time you get too close to the kerb, insead of the tyres, ....scrape those wheels.
  11. Sorry dont know what year a S13 is, but the steering on a Z is far better than the early, J K L reg 200's. They all felt like the geometry was wrong somehow.
  12. I had a problem with Green Flag, who only use contractors. As with you they sent an idiot, no damage was done but he threatened to leave me on the road side as he had never recovered a caravan before???? I took his keys and said no recovery, no keys, he phoned the police etc etc. Long story short I loaded it, complained and got a free years recovery, worth about 6pence. Took a while, just keep on and on and on etc. Dont give up. I am sure they try and out last you. And go to the top, or as near as you can.

  14. If you load a wheel bearing it makes more noise, if you load the other side it makes less. Mostly. As you have found out.
  15. I had an Audi A6 that did this, put some additive in and it was fine. Lets pretend I did not say it was Slick50
  16. Mine is located under the steering column, cant see it from outside and it does not get in the way.
  17. Any chance of a name etc? pls
  18. With regard to it coming back with a "Q", it wont. If they sell it to you it will def stay with the original number. 100%
  19. Evo's and Scubies are just fast TAXIS. Fast but oh so Dull.
  20. Buy a GOOD ONE, and dont even consider a bag of bones.....
