PC Helpplease
Hi all, I have just reformatted my hard drive etc, and now windows will not allow cookies. This is straight from loading windows (98se) I have checked the menus and it says cookies are allowed but still they are not. I have left the security at windows recomended, ie medium I think. And there are cookies placed in the cookies folder, but they can not be SEEN by any web sites, inc this one and I have to log in every time. Any ideas please.

My friend, his name is Rob, is my best mate, has been for 30 years, but he is only buying from the supra group buy. he is very careful, read tight, he wont buy one unless he is as happy as he can be. I guarantee he will not mess around, but he can only buy what is offered, ie they are all supposed to be new etc and he wont buy any without a proper box etc etc. I trust him, no exceptions. Up to you.

I will email him and make sure he is up for it, dont see why not. He might want to cash the cheque before he orders though, is this OK? As I said he is 100%

ANOTHER 5p per litre on petrol!!?!?!?
I dont want the BNP in power, BUT if my vote helps them in, and kicks the other idiots in the teeth so they start doing their job, and not lining their pockets etc, I will vote for the BNP. On the fuel price rise, they said they could now do it because the oil market was far more stable. And so OPEC cuts production so raise prices. How can they be so stupid, NO WRONG, how can WE BE SO STUPID. Copy the FRENCH. They dont let the politicians walk all over them.

Hi Ben, my mate is a member (Supra club) and has offered to order one for me. TBH I am very surprised at the total lack of interest shown on this forum. The idea was for many forums to get involved to get the price down.????? But I can ask him to order one for you, but he may need the money up front etc. If you are OK with this let me know. He is 100% so your money is safe. In passing the final price has not yet been worked out, it depends on numbers, but they are looking at £200. plus the lazer inc life membership. I await your reply,

autobox - no top gear?
Sorry, I was being rude and unhelpful. Low oil does give presure probs, but only in as much as it mostly shows itself as it will "fall out of gear", on corners, braking hard etc, due to surging of the oil. it also might only engage when you rev it, and then go in with a bang. If the car has got to top gear speed it has enough oil to do the other gears, and top will not take much, if any, more oil than the other gears. As for quality, it would not effect just top, and in extreme, a gearbox would run on almost any fuid (even heating oil) for a short time before it cocked everything up, so if it works for the other gears etc etc. Years ago, the yanks, once leaders in auto boxes said only change the fluid every 100,000miles. It does not go through the same process as engine oil, and I dont believe it "wears out" to anywhere near the same extent. Nor does it become polluted by the combustive process as in an engine. Top gear on the Z is a clutch, and it is too small for the job, hence they fail. A good thing to try and do is take your foot off the gas pedal as it changes gear, ie into top, this make a lot of difference to the stress placed on the clutch.

autobox - no top gear?
Fluid level or quality wont make any difference.

Power ?
Stuart, I agree, but my point was NEEDING it just to be able to drive without getting the back out. As was hinted at in this post earlier. Which is different to wanting it to enable you to drive faster etc. There are too many drivers (?) who forget the throtle works two ways.

Truvelo speed cameras
I posted a note about a group buy on Road Angel's with Lazer detectors on this forum, they think about £200.00 inc a life time subscription. Very Cheap. Also the lines are conductive loops. what ever that is. In Ride magazine a while back they suggested you DO NOT SIGN the NIP, send it back unsigned, something about making your sellf a witness. might be on a web site.

Power ?
Simmo303 is right, learn how to drive. Anyone who NEEDS traction control becasue they are forever loosing the back end when they dont mean to cant drive, period.

auto vs manual when buying a z
If you want a sensible reply, autos are easier and plenty fast enough 90% of the time. The rest of the time you wish you had a manual.

Slick 50 engine treatment
There are many people who will slag Slick off, and perhaps they are right. But I doubt very much that anyone will think that it caused your problems. Are you sure you didnt spill it over something, or knock something off?

Strange van with cameras
Not serious, well not very much so. But the fact is we are only listened to come election time, (and they soon forget that) and if anyone knows what to do that will make a difference please tell me. As for the National Front, they are not getting voted in for nothing, if they could loose the racist part I might consider them.

New Wheels Clicking and ticking
Hey sraaeea, see you still have not figured out the reading part yet, LOL. Hey, no offence, just pullng your chain.

Strange van with cameras
The gatsos with the extra wires are just counters, I stopped and looked at a few, no way the box they are connected to is clever enough to work out speed, IMHO. And they look just the same as the ones they have been putting on roads for years. At the end of the day we all know they are out to make money from speeding, regardless of what they say. Only way to make a difference is to vote for the National Front becasue that might scare the "big three" into respecting the people, then again, maybe not.....

Strange van with cameras
I have seen them use a van that looked like it was a Travelers van, ie an old scruffy camper thing, Leighton Buzzards area. And in Aylesbury they have a very tall van which "looks" over roundabouts and catches you before you get to the roundabout. Very sneaky as you can only see it after you know its there, and then only about a foot of the top. Also often laser vans in the middle of town. But I feel its fair in town.

lights or dim's
Try a GOOD Quality bulb, like Philips, but choose a Bright one, look on the packet for the extra light claim. And then you dont have to go to bigger wattage. These good (65w) bulbs are often better than cheap 100 watt bulbs anyway.
