as above, done this to my rx7 i imported, but will need to do to 300zx now so does anyone have any tips, diagrams .. photo's etc.. of them doing the job as i broke some things on the rx7 when i did it!! :(

The best thing to do is to buy the conversion from Z Centre its about £60 + vat, it comes with instructions. I have one fitted to my Z'd and I have had no problems with it.

I'll be buying the conversion for £40 at the docks, i can imagine it's the same he sells? i was just looking for someone with actual experience of doing it and any tips or trouble that they you went through doing it ?

or was it straight forward?

Some people say converting the speedo makes the Hicas work funny, and at the wrong speeds. I have UK clocks, so I dont know for sure.

Got mine from Mike at MJP. Small electronic device that fitts behind the clocks.. Four small soldered joints and away it went. Came with full detailed instructions. Hardest part was building up the courage to remove the clocks from the dash.

Chris, did you have to solder?? on the RX7 i just put it under some of the screws, do the instructions on this one tell you to solder?
