Why are imports so much more to insure than uk spec cars? They are not generally more powerful etc?

Hi, yeah which mods would i have to remove to get cover with more than? Or do you not do imports? My current insurer didnt ask if the car was an import so they might have it down as a uk car!

I have heard the police say this before, until you produce your docs and if they cant find your details on the computer they accuse you of driving without insurance etc until you do produce them, they did it to me when i got pulled. I was driving a car that belonged to my girlfriend and as my policy was tpft they said I was not insured. I told them that my policy doc stated that I could drive other cars that dont belong to me, which they said cannot be true (this was a few years back before they changed it to just comprehsive that covered this). I was not happy with what they were accusing me of, I said what happened to inocennt until proven guilty! IThey were very rude and were trying to bully me into admitting I was lieing! I called their bluff and invited them to follow me home so I could show them my docs but they refused! Took my insurance doc to the police station the next day and the woman that pulled me was on the front desk! WHAT THE HELL DOES THAT SAY THERE THEN! I have never seen anyone so appologetic lol.

I spent 2 weeks in tornado ally a few years back, the super calls that you get there are awsome, dwarf anything i have ever seen here by many times.

The pics were taken when he had it on the road, been in storage for 3 years since then. Its running but brakes are sezied, it also now has side exit pipes! He still has the rear backboxes tho. Gonna let it run on ebay and contact me if the auction is unsucsessful
