  3. As Paul says chards will sort you out but brace yourself as the guy who overseas the work will want to totally rebuild your prop and build you something that could have been used on the QE2.Be firm and insist that you only want doing what you asked him and it wil be fine. The workmanship is good but Nigel is a bit eager.
  4. Stock pistons are the weak point.Stock rods and crank can take serious power before upgrading is needed.Plenty of 5-600bhp zeds in the states are just running forged pistons with oem crank and rods.

  11. standard bore size should be 87-87.030mm.The wear limit is 0.20mm on top of these readings.Main bearing journals should be around 62.962mm.Big ends should measure around 49.964mm.The figures after the decimal point will not be exact when you measure them but will give you an idea what your looking for.If its not re ground have the journals polished and put a set of standard bearings in.
  12. If you want to prove a bad earth use a jump lead from the battery to a good ground on the engine,Secure it so you can shut the bonnet and drive it.The earth runs along the scuttle is bolted there and then runs down the back of the engine and bolts to the passenger side of the bellhousing. You can get to it with the battery out.
