  1. Thats not a uk car as i couldnt see any hicas. Its n/a & jap so i will make a wild stab in the dark and say a 91?
  2. Very unlikely for rear brakes to cause the car to veer. You can have massive rear brake inbalance and wouldnt even know.Average cars have around 70/30 split so the majority of braking is done by the front.See this all the time when doing mot,s.
  3. Should make a regular feature of this i reckon.Much better than charades :D
  4. He hadnt fitted a manual engine and left the boss off the crank for the convertor :mac1:. or got the drive plate and convertor bolts mixed up?
  5. Torque convertor bolts left loose?
  6. Jesus !! That must have been making a row.
  7. Did that drive in like that Jeff?
  8. Bent idler stud perhaps causing belt to ride off or washer left off that sits between crank sprocket and damper?
  9. Didnt he do time for recieving swollen goods :D.

  11. I drove Shreks car on here after i rebuilt his engine and he was running a twin plate OS giken and it was as light as a stock clutch.couldnt fault it.
  12. If you wish bud you can contact me on
  13. m10 x 1.75 iirc. Its also worth bearing in mind that the hole can be made deeper and the thread tapped further down.Just use a longer bolt after.
  14. That part number is for a 90-93 tt manual.so youve got the right one matey.
  15. Wolfrace Asia tech or along those lines im sure.Wolfrace started a line of wheels aimed at the jdm market about three years ago and they look like one of them.when i got my first set of zed wheels for my car the guy offered me those.
  16. Ditto ^^^^ the bracket has a 10mm nut holding it and you need hands like a baby to get to it but i cut mine off to save pulling it through.
  17. Look out for a late model scoobie tank. They are small and you may find room to fit it.
  18. Post up some pics of the mk2 cossie.Id kill my own mother for one. That angle box is the dogs Dave.Even though i love zeds i still lust after street sleeper retro fords. On e bay roughly two years ago a mk2 escort mexico cossie was up for grabs. You probaly know the car it was orange and featured in a magazine.I kept pics of that for screensavers on the pc.
  19. Automatic cars will use slightly more fuel as the cars engine is always under load turning the torque converter but it is negligible.
  20. The bar connects to the lock mechanism. If the drivers door has an aftermarket motor fitted for the alarm to work the central locking which i should imagine it does then the yellow clip breaking wont make a difference to your alarm opening the door.
  21. Yes your better of going for 2 good runs as opposed to loads of short journeys.
  22. Shall i pencil you in for your engine rebuild for say three months time :D
