Yes the filter housing will take a switch also.when fitting braided oil lines to cars ive had to relocate the stock switch to this position and lengthen the stock wiring along the crossmember to reach it.I will try and sort a pic out for you.

If you get the heads skimmed and you should by the way! go for .051" thickness as this will compensate for the average amount of material removed from the head face and not affect your compression ratio(as long as your using stock compression pistons).

measure the crank and if it is in within tolerance buy a set of ACL standard main and big end bearings.The reason z1 said your grades are no good is probaly because standard nissan rods are graded by size,this coupled with the crank journal determines the bearing size.But we are talking about microns of difference which is a tad anal to say the least.
